Hamm’s acting was definitely on point in that episode.
I thought the contrast of his direct action vs Danish’s scheme was quite interesting. If you’re so smart, why are you so dead.
The idea that Linda never escaped, or was caught and killed, is quite shocking. Was “the map to utopia” that Dot/Nadine found really Linda’s dead body? Gator didn’t seem to believe her.
What did Roy telling Nadine that “she never left” really mean?

This season is F’n awesome. Best episode yet. Hate to see Foley die. I’m a big Kids in the Hall fan.

This show has become a caricature of itself. Woke cliche after woke cliche. Evil white man in charge as villain: check; female victim and the female cop who will take them down check; ridiculous redneck villain with confederate don't tread on me flag: check; minority man helping female hero check; fbi good local pd bad check. Really terrible. Viewership of 18-49 year oldsdown from even the terrible season 4. Enjoy the last season of this crap.

Honestly, none of that has even crossed my mind once because it’s been another great season with incredible acting. And even now that you have pointed it out, I couldn’t care less because it’s still good tv.

Was that Ol Munch in the backseat of Gator's car? At first I thought that it was Nadine, but clearly it wasn't, so I just assume that it was Munch? I should have rewound it.

Gator lives or dies?
I'd say about 50/50 right now.

Why did Graves go to the ranch by himself?
It seems like he should have fully realized the danger, but I guess that in his world people destroy livelihoods and reputations, and the game is played with money, not blood. People don't murder people, especially a sheriff murdering a lawyer in cold blood, so he was naïve to that I reckon.

Yeah, guessing he just thought no way a Sheriff would do something like that.
Another great episode. Hamm and the Ted Lasso chick are crushing it. Yeah, no way Gator makes it out alive.

I was wondering why he didn’t tell Lorraine about going to the ranch and even ignored her call when he was there. My thought is that he wanted to come back to Lorraine the hero to gain her approval.

Gator
In a season packed with great performances, seeing the performance of Gator from the same actor that plays Steve Harrington is without question my favorite
He really has done a phenomenal job as a heel and can’t wait to see his end.
Season is rivaling S1 for me, really hope it sticks the landing.

While at that point in the show Danish was acting to help the protagonist, I think that was misdirection from the fact that he is in fact one of the bad guys. He manipulated the three guys into changing their name just like Roy manipulated the woman at the hospital by threatening her brother. Just like Roy is arrogant that the law doesn’t apply to him,
Danish was arrogant to think that violence wouldn’t touch him. But as Roy said, if you’re so smart, why are you so dead.
In all honesty you have to question Witt as well for showing up alone to the ranch. I mean, Witt stood down in a hospital setting full of witnesses vs Roy and his henchmen - was it really a good idea to then show up alone at the ranch?

quote:He assumed that a man with Roy's power would be intelligent enough to know that he couldn't just murder a man. Keep in mind that Danish's modus operandi was to put people in a position where they had to bend to his wishes, not to kill or threaten with death. Danish and Roy were in different leagues playing by different rules.
Why did Graves go to the ranch by himself?
