national lampoons European vacation

I have a channel on my IPTV service that continuously plays Vacation, European Vacation, Christmas Vacation, and Vegas Vacation all day. I have to catch myself sometimes because I would sit there all day and watch.

Jesus, I feel bad for the younger generation who missed out on all of the classics.

You know comedy is dead when they are listing Superbad as their favorite/iconic comedy film. But at least it was amusing. They don't even do amusing these days.

Gen X had an awesome run - Animal House, Caddyshack, Airplane, Blues Brothers, Stripes, The Jerk, Trading Places, Spinal Tap, Vacation, Fletch, Naked Gun, Raising Arizona, etc...

Harlem Nights
Life
The Hangover
Friday (and the other 2 are funny as well)
Superbad
The 40 year old virgin

There are several from the 1980s like The Jerk.

Coming to America.. I like anything with Eddie Murphy before he decided to do movies where he doesn't cuss bc he didn't want his kids to see him in those type of movies, which sucks because he is one of the funniest comics ever.

I really can't just say one movie.

Another one I forgot to mention. The second one is pretty funny as well, but not like the first one.

“The Wedding Crashers” might be the funniest to be because I had absolutely no expectations when I first watched it, which was several years after it came out. Was a very nice surprise.

“Superbad” and “Step Brothers” are both way up there for me too.

This one is kind of "stupid" funny, but Half Baked.

Such an underrated gem. Idk if it's actually "underrated", I think people just forget about it because it wasn't very big box office wise and it has a definite stoner vibe to it.

Super Troopers
Old School
Black Sheep

A lot more that I wish I could go back and experience for the first time again.

ETA: May have missed it, but I haven't seen Team America listed. That's another good one.

Some of the Madea movies were good, and The Pink Panther movies were great with my favorite being The Pink Panther Strikes Again. Fletch Lives was hilarious as well!

I thought Happy Gilmore was hilarious at the time, I watched it in the movie theatre, but I watched some of it several years ago and it wasn't as funny as I first thought it was.
