What are we thinking about the whole MiY/Sophia blood in the drink thing?
He's already on a frayed rope and his drinking is making it worse. I think the blood is to push him further into irrationality. Here's a possible scenario...
The blood-water makes him pass out.
He wakes up to find out she is accusing him of trying to rape her (she may even cut/bruise herself up a bit for more believability).
This creates a lot of drama because he lives with Victor in Colony House, where the majority of folks seem to also live.
It's nighttime when they confront him. He gets into a heated exchange, even with Victor. The blood causes him to be irrational so he gets so irate he leaves and takes the talisman with him.
Enter the massacre.

“Our fears become part of the forest.” That’s something we’ve talked about before and I’ve brought up several times. And specifically, the people who die here. That’s a huge piece of information.
I think it's more than just their fears. Ethan's books are relevant, Boyd telling Donna to wake up and it happens, etc. Sophia tells her "dad" to wake up and he does... maybe everyone has this power but she's the only one whos been around long enough to know she has it. Maybe Boyd conjured that door last night and Jade may have made his mushrooms appear. Julie now believes she can't change the past, maybe if she still had hope she could?
I'm starting to think the twist is going to be that Jade and Tabitha are the ones who sacrificed the children. The angkooey kids want to scare them, torture them, and make them remember what they've done. Their reincarnation is the immortality they got in exchange for the sacrifice. And the reason the townspeople are always the ones who kill Jade are because they find out what he's done.

I still am curious as to what MiY/Sophia knows and doesn't know. Very clearly she knows what the yellow suit is, and was still asking Henry about it. And you'd have to assume it always knows more than it is letting on.
MiY knows the overarching design/story at play, but it seems that the people in each iteration of the cycle are the wildcard/unknown for him/it.
Thus, he knows that his favorite part is "when they tear each other apart", but perhaps the mechanism/catalyst is different each time. That would keep the story/cycle from getting stale and keep the forest stocked with fresh nightmares and fear/hope to feed on.

I'm not mad at either one of those theories. Especially the second one.
It could be cool if the "everyone has power here, you just have to learn to control it" thing were true, or at least to some degree.

Good point. Maybe he does know what's up with the place but still needs to learn some things about the people. That makes sense.
We have what, four episodes left (I think this was E6 this week). So do we think those four episodes will be headed toward some sort of confrontation with MiY or do we think MiY will be the big bad moving forward to the end of the show/into next season as well? IMO it would be cool if MiY was sort of the big bad for this season, and then we move to a higher power for the final season (along with figuring out answers along the way as to WTF this place actually is).

I think that's how it'll go:
Golem v MiY in the season finale, with MiY giving some dying utterance or scurrying off beaten, but "alive" and calling in the big dog(s).
ETA:
I really like this theory:

It would also explain the Golem. Fatima is trying so hard to manifest this thing into existence as a protector and if it works it would add credibility to the theory.
Something I haven't seen discussed, why did they decide to sew up Roger (the extra that the dolls killed) to look as much like one of these scary looking dolls as possible? Feels like he's gotta resurrect as a doll

Almost certainly in the middle of the big season-ending calamity, someone will be in/near the shed and he'll attack from behind.

I took it as either something the dolls did off-camera or an after-effect of being killed by a doll. His being on top of the wires so Jade could freak out over his sewings definitely made me think he'll come back as a doll at some point.

So there were 3 dolls that attacked IIRC. Did anyone notice how many were originally thrown into the lake during the flashback scene? Wonder if there were fewer than 3 and the quantity grows with each person they kill

I’ve been lurking in these threads since I started watching when season 2 was airing. I’m just here to say if anything happens to Donna, I will riot. The past two episodes have been too stressful.

3, I'm pretty sure.

Around the time Mia puts the blood in Henry's drink, she questioned if it all was a dream. Maybe she's trying to convince him that he needs to just wake up. What if the same thing happened with Boyd's wife? Perhaps he is being pushed to kill everyone in town and the blood is the catalyst.

Good theory.
Sophia needs to show them cannons

What’s with putting dna in liquids this season? First Sara now Sophia.

I don't know where I got Mia from

I’ve been thinking on the whole “your wife shouldn’t have dug that hole” line. What did we actually learn from the hole?
Posted on 6/3/26 at 8:30 am to dyslexiateechur
The power lines go nowhere.
The hole connected to a tunnel system where the monsters live.
Someone/thing is watching them.

Guessing he's just trying to keep people out of the tunnels if Jade is correct in that it's the way out
