BE HONEST _ LIST THE FNL MOMENTS THAT MADE YOU TEAR UP
the scene where Vince had to make his way through the crowd after winning the game to send them to the championship to find his mom and the scene before the state championship in the finale where coach tells Vince "you may never know how proud I am of you" to the reply of "you changed my life coach"

i began to hate her when she got with the TA
i was honestly pissed off at a fictional tv character when she got with that TA.
i wanted her and matt to end up together.

She was in college, they wouldn't find out for at least a couple of weeks
Wasn't she going back just to take her finals? The school/teachers would have known about these special circumstances. I would think they would call if they were expecting her to show up and was missing.
It didn't ruin the show by any means, but just sort of bothered me. Maybe Coach and Mrs just didn't care b/c she was back with Matt.

love it. great show...i don't think it ever got the popularity it deserved despite it being very well-reviewed.
The Landry and Tyra murder thing was the worst part of the show.

agreed.
as others have stated earlier, landry was great as matt's friend. when they wrote specific storylines for him, it wasn't that great.

This show probably had my favorite series finale ever.
I felt connected to most of the main characters. I felt they developed well. It has already been mentioned but the episode where Saracen buries his father was absolutely heart wrenching.
I felt joy when smash was able to get on at A&M.
The Alamo Freeze is one of my top tv fictional restaurants that I would like to go to.
Gracie Taylor might have been the ugliest tv baby I have seen.
I loved the episodes after the split of the high schools.
Vince Howard was a beast. He is what Russell Shepard could have been as a college qb.
Jason street's storyline got weird with the baby and all. Then he basically becomes a sports agent over night. Really was far fetched.
One of my favorite characters was Luke. What a mess that was when he got Becky pregnant.
Tim and Billy Riggins story lines were awesome.
Buddy Garrity was hilarious. I felt sad when Garrity motors shut down. But at least he was able to get the bar running.
Tyra getting into UT was also a great moment.
Another great moment was Riggins leaving the cleats on the field in the end zone.
Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton were perfectly cast as husband and wife in this show. Coach Eric Taylor is one of my all time favorite tv characters.
Landry was hit or miss. I enjoyed seeing his band "Crucifictorious" and laughed and felt a little awkward when he tried to hook up with the lesbian in the band with him. The story line with the murder and all was out of control. I was happy he was able to hook up with Tyra but she treated him like shite.
Tyra then started hooking up with that pill popping rodeo guy named "Cash".
Julie Taylor (Aimee Teegarden) was my favorite girl in the show.
But like others have said, the hookup with the TA totally pissed me off.
The best non family character relationship on this show to me was Coach Taylor and Matt Saracen. Coach pushed Matt. He knew that he wasn't the most talented, biggest or strongest. But he pushed Matt on and off the field. He helped him cope with matt's father passing. He was also friendly to Matt's grandma. Although Matt was sneaking around behind his back with Julie for a while, their character relationship was great.
This is my favorite all time series. I could watch this start to finish on repeat and die a happy man.

How long did it take you to go through the five seasons? I watched this show as it came on tv over the 5 years. I imagine if I had not watched this show yet and started on Netflix, i would have gotten so hooked and finished it in less than a week.
Posted on 6/16/12 at 2:26 pm to BeeFense5
a little over 2 weeks. i was hooked from the minute i started.
my cousin had recommended it to me, and i kept putting it off. i finally started one day when it rained, and i was all about it.

the 5th season was played on some crazy satellite channel then after that ended it came on nbc.
It's my understanding that if that crazy satellite channel had not stepped in we would not have gotten the last two seasons so I'm thankful that they believed in the show when NBC wouldn't carry the cost alone.
As much as I hate to admit it I watched Dawson's Creek in college. I saw it on Netflix the other day and turned it on and couldn't stand it and turned it off after 10 minutes. I think after seeing how well FNL did teen drama it made DC that much more terrible in my eyes.

Matt Saracen, Smash Williams, and Tim Riggins

Riggins was by far my favorite. He sure has propelled it to a movie career.

Yea, we would watch like 4 episodes per night. It was crazy how hooked we were. My husband would get fired up watching the football game scenes and wanna do oline/dline!! Becky was not hot enough for tim riggins

did season 2 suck as much as them asshats were trying to make you believe?
Yes.
The nurse, murder, and religious lyla storylines sucked.
And it's not that it sucked it just wasn't up to par.
