A lot of the ones being listed, I'm not sure how anyone could forget them. Many of them certainly haven't been forgotten by the culture at large.

My entries:

Miracle Mile
Pennies from Heaven
Near Dark (possibly the best vampire movie ever made and so few people remember or even know about it. Shameful.)
976-Evil (not a great movie but I enjoyed the pure 80s-ness of it.)
Night Shift
Cavegirl (no, seriously, it's awesomely cheesy 80s with hilarious anachronisms throughout. Just to be clear, in case some mad fool is reading this thread for recommendations -- it's not a good movie. I love it but I don't recommend it.)

Is Roxanne well-remembered? I think it must be, but I rarely hear anyone mention it anymore.

Edit: Also, do people remember/like "April Fool's Day"? I watched it as a kid and bought it on DVD ages ago. Immediately fell back in love with it at first viewing.

I'm cheating a little because it's from 1990 but rarely ever see this movie mentioned.

I think a lot of what is being listed is subjective. If you're an 80's kid, you probably remember most if not all of these films. But, there are so many that hardly get any TV play anymore that it's easy to forget them off the top of your head until you see it listed. Roxanne was a good one. I remember it, but I haven't seen it in seemingly forever.
