Or a big table of smooshed up brains?
Actually I like that theory too. The main reason I'm sticking with bones (although it could be dehydrated brains or something) was the bag of that white crystalline stuff.
ETA: The more I think about it, the more I like your brain theory. That could be necessary in order for them to keep the hive mind with all the info that is lost when someone dies.
ETA2: Although then again, they have Helen's memories even though she's dead, so never mind... :)

I went back and re-watched Episode 2 and at the very beginning when Zosia is helping clean up bodies, I noticed that the truck they were putting them in had a milk logo on it. There was also a yogurt truck on the runway.
My guess is it's human bones.

Thanks guys for all your great responses! I'll check out Mortismal Gaming for sure!!

Yeah I agree -- I tend to avoid basic types too and why the Chanter is so cool to me. I just got past the point where you get Kana and realized that he's a Chanter too, which triggered another "maybe I'll try a different class..." then it spiraled into a "maybe a different game" and how I wound up here. :)

Probably projecting a bit of my own experience into that statement as it took me at least four or five restarts before I settled on the Cypher and saw it through to the end game.
Haha I was gonna ask you if you'd beaten it and what class you settled on. The Cipher definitely seems intriguing but I'm currently playing with a Chanter and really liking it!

If you’ve bounced off of Pillars multiple times,
Also just to clarify, it's not so much that I bounced off it as I experienced a problem I commonly have with these games... which is that I start the game and get a few hours into it then start thinking "man I bet it'd be fun to play one of those" and restart.
I actually love the game and fully intend on beating it someday! Just have to prioritize due to limited time.

Huge help, thank you very much!! I'm kind of more a collector of games these days who just picks up games on sale but has limited gaming time so trying to optimize my time here.
I actually own Disco Elysium too and will start there!

Awesome, thank you for the recommendations! I've started Pillars and WoTR like ten times apiece trying different character classes and trying to decide which one to focus on first!
I actually own both Divinity games and just bought Rogue Trader on sale, and I just checked and I own Tyranny also haha.
So if you had to pick from one of those - which would you start on? I need to focus on one or I won't beat any of them! :)

Have you played Expedition 33 yet? I typically don't like turn based combat, but this game is fantastic.
I second this!! I'm about ten hours into it and it is the best game I've played in a long time!
Western RPGs

Hey guys,
I don't see them mentioned too often (outside of Baldur's Gate 3) but was curious if anyone else enjoys playing western (non-Japanese) RPGs...
I've been dabbling a little bit lately in Pillars of Eternity and Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous and was wondering if anyone has any experiences with these or similar games (or has any they want to recommend!)?
I really enjoy the blend of story, character advancement, and combat strategy that these games bring, although they are a huge commitment usually due to their length.

The book written by Joe Galaway with Hal Moore is even better than the movie. I couldn't put it down. Big salute to the 7th Cav!!
Agreed!! I know the movie focuses on 1st Battalion/LZ X-Ray, but the book describes the horrifying action at LZ Albany too which is tough to read about.

The $20 credit is a nice gesture but I cancelled my service altogether on Saturday.
I subscribe to live TV 4-5 months out of the year specifically for football season. I have YouTubeTV and my friend has the ESPN service and we both had to sign up for a free trial of Fubo to watch the LSU game.
Two weeks ago ESPN moved a broadcast (can't remember which game) to a different channel once another game kicked off and I needed TWO SEPARATE SERVICES/APPS to watch the first and second half of THE SAME GAME.
This streaming shite is so out-of-control and combined with the NIL and transfer nonsense, college football is rapidly dropping down my list of interests.

Why? This is what generally happens. They put out just enough to let you know they’ve got him but withhold the damning evidence until trial. It also prevents any accomplices from knowing what other evidence they might have that could incriminate them.
Haha ignorance I guess. But that makes sense. This thing has just been eating at me since it happened and that's one thing I can check off my box of strange things.

It's always been interesting to me that that camera has a clear shot of the entire roof but for some reason we only get footage of the dude running and jumping off the roof.
