Totally agree, and this is the biggest glaring hole on the PS5 in my opinion... There isn't a single good boxing game on it, and the Fight Night games were a blast! I don't know why they won't just get it updated for PS5 and re-release it.

I'd just like to point out that thanks to this thread and some of you guys' input, I've started a full run back through the whole thing on my PS5. I've beaten 1 & 2 on PC but want to try it laid-back on the couch. I've still never even beaten 3 so I'm looking forward to seeing what all the fuss over the ending is about...

Fantastic game! I just replayed it about a year ago too and it holds up well (especially in the Legendary Edition).

That cutscene is great, but the scene in Mass Effect 2 when you walk into The Afterlife bar the first time is my favorite of the series. The music, the atmosphere, everything!

Any suggestions on which ones to watch next?

The Hunt is one of my favorites which you already watched. A couple of others I like that I don't see on that list is The Midnight Sun (where the sun starts moving closer to the earth and stars a gorgeous Lois Nettleton) and The Grave, where a bad guy's dying promise comes back to haunt an old western town. Lee Marvin is awesome in this!

ETA - An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge if you want something kind of different and trippy!

I used to be indifferent to this episode until I had kids. The thought of them having unlimited power based on whatever whim they have at the time is absolutely terrifying to me.
I have had a Switch 1 for a few years and have built up a decent collection on that. That's the online subscription service you mention, and yes it is awesome! You can play old NES, SNES, N64,and Gameboy/GBC games with the subscription. The Switch 2 also gives you access to a few Gamecube games with it.

Edit - to actually answer your question, I haven't got anything new for it yet, but almost every game gets a performance boost on the 2, and there are free upgrades to enhanced versions for some of the bigger games like Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. I'm sure I'll be buying something by sundown though!

I've been wanting to get into this. Bought it on sale awhile back and it definitely looks promising!
My wife and kids surprised me out of nowhere with a Switch 2! Felt like being a kid again opening that up!!

Terrible movie to watch with your kids.

Made for some awkward moments.

 I was just watching this movie and it's at the porn stand-ins' story and was thinking "welp, cross this one off the family list for awhile!"

You have to be careful watching this around young kids as there is a major spoiler scene.

Very good advice! I had this on a few days ago with my kids in the room and it got to the part when they went to Orlando/Brad's dad's and as soon as they started exchanging presents, I remembered and turned it off.

Did he actually give the necklace to the secretary? Did he actually cheat with her? If she had seen the necklace in his pocket then around Mia’s neck that would be one thing, but she just jumps to a conclusion because she opens a gift and it’s a CD

I totally agree about her maybe jumping to conclusions a little too fast, but in my opinion that was 100% cheating. He bought that necklace with the intent of giving it to her and hid it from his wife. I can't 100% remember but I think he did wind up giving it to the girl too. Hard to blame him, but I'd bet money my wife would call it cheating.

a little far fetched? That’s what makes it’s funny actually it is so unbelievably stupid, strait up male fantasy of the Dear Penthouse Forum variety

Great point!!

Then there’s Laura Linney about to shag Xerxes but her crazy brother cock blocks her and then tries to beat her

The individual storylines are of varying quality, and this is by far the most annoying one to me. She's been obsessed with this guy forever, they finally have a chance to hook up yet she can't leave her brother to his handlers for an hour or two, then "oh well, didn't work out the first time! guess we're done!"

I actually like the Alan Rickman storyline. Emma Thompson is kinda hot to me!!

Overall I still love this move. My favorite storyline is probably Liam Neeson and his son. The horny guy coming to America was pretty funny too (although a little far-fetched, but it's a movie!)

I noticed they released a prequel to it in the early 2000s that was panned by critics.

Gods and Generals, and it is as bad as advertised in my opinion. But watch Gettysburg for sure!!
Despite the fake beards and slightly melodramatic dialogue, I absolutely love this movie. I have the Extended edition in all of it's 4+ hour glory!

I just got back from a work trip and was lucky enough to get to visit the actual battlefield at Gettysburg last Sunday. That was a truly amazing experience getting to see the actual terrain Pickett's charge took place on!! I highly recommend it!!

re: Tron: Ares worth a watch?

Most definitely IMO!!

Ares was amazing in the theater but I'm looking forward to seeing it again at home!

Or a big table of smooshed up brains?

Actually I like that theory too. The main reason I'm sticking with bones (although it could be dehydrated brains or something) was the bag of that white crystalline stuff.

ETA: The more I think about it, the more I like your brain theory. That could be necessary in order for them to keep the hive mind with all the info that is lost when someone dies.

ETA2: Although then again, they have Helen's memories even though she's dead, so never mind... :)
I went back and re-watched Episode 2 and at the very beginning when Zosia is helping clean up bodies, I noticed that the truck they were putting them in had a milk logo on it. There was also a yogurt truck on the runway.

My guess is it's human bones.

I always go the download route... The Switch cartridges are TINY and very easy to lose, a dog to eat, etc...
