Nintendo has great battery technology

They forgot to implement this into the switch 2

Man this no lie. The battery life of the Switch 2 itself (haven't tried the Pro 2 controller) is absolute garbage. I can get maybe 2 solid hours of gameplay max on a full charge before the Low Battery warning starts flashing. That limits its usefulness on long flights and places where you may have limited charging options.

Just be aware - If you want to be able to turn on your switch 2 with the controller you need the switch 2 pro controller. The original pro controller will work, but it will not wake your system. Very lame move by nintendo.

Totally agree on this one. It's one of the big reasons I'm considering getting a Switch 2 Pro controller, but I'm also debating not getting one just on principle.

It's worth it in my opinion. I'm not a huge fan of the joycons and the Pro controller just feels solid and well-built in your hand. The battery life is very good on them and I feel like I have better control over just about every game when I'm using it over the joycons.
Awesome, thanks for the impressions! That's one of the things that I really like about this game - being familiar with D&D makes things "click" a little bit easier than it did with Disco Elysium (I still couldn't explain what half the skills in that game actually do).

Sounds like you've made it about as far as me. I'm looking forward to diving into it more this weekend!
It's actually on sale on Steam right now too for $7.19. Reviews are mixed but it definitely looks interesting. I may pick it up and add it to my massive backlog.

Sorry for derailing, but on the topic of Disco Elysium-likes, have you played Sovereign Syndicate?

No, I've never even heard of it. Is it good?
I had never heard of this game before but stumbled on a review of it and it sounded intriguing so I dug a little bit more.

Esoteric Ebb is basically a streamlined Disco Elysium but set in a D&D/fantasy world. It has Overwhelmingly Positive reviews on Steam at the moment. I've played through maybe the first hour and it is very cool/interesting/different.

Anyone else try this?

I've played through maybe the first couple of hours and it is a very cool game. I haven't made it off the planet you start on though so I feel like I haven't seen much of it yet. :)

I need to get back into this at some point...

Played through the first hour tonight and I think I can safely say that this was $30 well-spent. The game reminds me of a cross between Bioshock and Cuphead. The atmosphere is cool and the combat is fun once you start gaining some moves and using environmental stuff.

Recommend it so far!!

All from the same movie. 80’s cult classic.

Glad you posted this, I was kind of on the fence after reading the IGN review, but the PC Gamer review calls it a "bona fide classic".

I think I'm gonna give it a shot!

I will never understand why people think it's a good idea to do what Ben Stiller did to his face.

This movie looks absolutely horrible.

You want a good life? It's not complicated. Tell the girl you love that you love her... and tell the truth to everyone whenever you can.
This sounds like an instant buy for me!! I love Ocarina of Time but I never meshed that well with the controls. If this has modern camera controls... oh man!!
"sooner rather than later"

Just a damn waste of syllables...

Am I missing something? I know it’s early access but this feels like it should’ve been an update or dlc, not a completely new title.

Apparently you're not alone in this assessment... :)

I've never been a huge fan of the genre, but Slay the Spire is the exception. It is soooo good, and just talking about it is making me wanna go try another run!
Tried to play tonight but they seemed to be having server issues or something (I'm sure they are probably having way higher traffic than normal at the moment). It seems to make you want to link your 2k and PSN account (which I've already done with NBA2k) but that whole process seems broken at the moment.

Looking forward to trying it out this weekend though!
Thanks for the heads-up!

Curious if anyone has tried this and your opinions... It's got a 2.92 (out of 5) rating on PSN which isn't great but considering it's free I'll still download and try it.

I have the EA one (I think it's called Road to the Masters) and it is actually pretty good. I've seen it on sale for as low as $3, and it has over 20 real courses.
