***possible spoilers for a few 80's movies***
***possibly completely wrong about what each movie is about and their endings***

I recently saw a guy wearing a Rad Racing shirt. Caught me off guard but it was the greatest shirt I've seen in awhile, maybe ever. Just got finished ordering one.

Made me start remembering all those awesome 80's movies when I was a kid. I started remembering all these great movies that almost got erased from my memory. The two best that I had forgotten were Monster Squad and Rad. I may be getting all these movies I list all mixed up or completely wrong but I really am too scared to rewatch them incase they didn't age well. I'm too nostalgic to screw that up. I like remembering them the way I do now in my mind. Feel free to correct me when I remember wrong on facts because I'm attempting these mostly on memory alone. I'm just not ready to see them again just yet unless I'm convinced I would still love them now.

Monster Squad- wolfman has nards! They had the sweet arse tree house. Maybe Frankenstein was their friend or something? I loved this show but not sure if I'm getting it confused with the one with Corey Haim or Sean Aston in a wheel chair or not. It might have been Silver Bullet or something.I do know I loved Monster Squad way more though.

RAD- How in the hell did I ever forget about this all time great movie? Skip out on taking your SATs to compete in a bicycle race. Cru Jones is the big underdog against Mongoose, Bart Conner and the evil twins. Can't remember all details but do remember the crazy back flip to get back in contention and then the champ, Bart, waits on him for a final showdown and loses. I can't believe the Mom actually thought college was a better idea than racing Hellcat for a chance at a sweet car.
(This movie started an arms race of bicycles of all the kids in my neighborhood. Mongoose, Redline and maybe one other brand were the big dogs we were after. I had both a Mongoose and a red line with sweet arse front and back pegs.)

Then Bart Conner *(looked him up but remember him well now)* made me remember another great even though I'm not sure if he was in this movie.

American Anthem- I had to look up the title of this one. Made men's gymnastics a little less gay for a short time. *not that there is anything wrong with that*
Fuzzy on this one also but remember loving it. I do remember the main guy on a motorcycle chasing his little brother who was trying to commit suicide by 3 wheeler over a cliff and tackling him at the last moment. *(May have those reversed or this scene may never have happened)*
Also the main guy trying some crazy gymnastic move on the tall bars but almost killing a coach in practice by attempting it. Might have been the second person he hurt or killed. Then in the final meet, that Rebel goes for it to win against every ones advice but nails it!!!... Or maybe he finished 3rd. It still pumped you up at the end even if he lost.

I'm pretty sure RAD and American Anthem were basically Karate Kid but with different sports if my memory is correct.

I did look up who was the main actor in American Anthem. His name is Gaylord. I'm not checking any further incase its the same guy in Iron Eagle.

Iron Eagle is another. I can't even remember why it was so great but remembered loving that movie. I don't even remember what it was about besides a guy in a fighter jet. For some reason I remember a remake.

Were these as good as I remember? What were some others? Goonies, Rocky, Rambo, Top Gun, Karate Kid or any other well known or iconic movies don't count. Corey Haim and Feldman movies may not count either.

Well she and he didn't know.

Oh and I forgot, Flamingo Kid...

That movie was a step above an 80's sex comedy that gets overlooked today.

The movie "Mischief" from 1985, if for no other reason than the generous soundtrack of great 1950s rock 'n roll songs.

Here’s one that hardly anyone remembers: Looker (1981)

Well ahead of its time with CGI concepts.
