The reason I was against Zod from the onset is that A) We already got a wonderful version of Zod and B) He’s a bad first villain since it involves Superman bringing him to Earth, and as a result everyone would hate Superman before building up some sort of a reputation. No way Snyder or Goyer thought about that until fanboys called him out on it.

Yeah. Wonder Woman is sitting at probably a 90% approval rating on this Board with a ton of rave reviews. I'm one of the few that found it mediocre at best.

It's also true to character.

Batman is the world's greatest detective with more money that almost anyone else, how own private R&D firm, and more advanced gadgets than anyone else. It was just a cool scene. Yeah its not real, but it's Batman. He does some really cool fantasy shite.

the positives I see to JL are as follows:

1) hopefully this will be snyder's last dceu production

2) positive reviews for the characters means we'll hopefully get some good solo films

not sure if i'll see this in theaters or not. always liked DC more growing up (batman & superman back2back cartoons were the tits) but snyder's interpretation of these characters with a focused plot really sucks

i've liked the marvel movies enough. they've started to just be the same thing over and over tho, especially with shitty villains and kneeslapping jokes.

finally watch homecoming a few weeks ago. i love M Keaton and felt he was a really shallow character and his potential was wasted.

how could the Joker possibly know where a Helicopter would be

He didn't. He waited on the timer to create a distraction so they could get off a quick shot and scatter.

how he could get that amount of explosives in a hospital with only like 4 hours notice.

Yeah I agree. This made me roll my eyes the first time I saw the movie. Makes no sense.

Yes, they're pretty much done with him. They were too far along in the process to remove him from this film. After the BvS debacle, they've made tons of changes. I'm actually excited for the future films - Aquaman (James Wan), Shazam(David Sanberg), Batman (Matt Reeves).

Hopefully Thanos changes the entire tone of these movies.

It would be cool to have them start the movie lighthearted and Thanos show up and wreck shite and rip visions head apart and from there forward it becomes a badass dramatic/action movie.

Not sure what WB has to do to convince people that Snyder is out. They removed and replaced him from his position as top creative on the DCEU, hired another director and re-wrote, re-shot, and re-edited his film, and are reshuffling the remaining films without his input. They could drag his corpse down Hollywood Blvd followed by a cloaked woman ringing a bell and chanting "shame" and people would STILL worry about his future involvement.

I'm sure that they'll continue to alternate between comedy and drama. We've seen the last of the serious Thor or Spider-Man films, but I'm guessing that any Black Panther and Captain America films going forward will be pretty serious.

That's a shame. There are some really serious villains that could make a great Spidey movie.

Batman makes them go off the planned path. Plus how could he have known the elevation the helicopter. Unless he had men on every rooftop in a mile radius, it’s impossible he could have planned for this.

That’s my point. It had to be timed at the same time they do the salute. That’s only going to fool them for about 5 seconds for the Joker to take his shot.

Harvey is burned around dawn and then he spends the afternoon hunting down corrupt cops and mobsters. Joker could not have counted for half of Harvey’s face being burnt off and being transported to a hospital. Let’s say Harvey arrives at the hospital around 7:30. Harvey at the very most is out of that hospital by 2:30, and Joker called in the threat an hour before. I think 4 hours is a pretty safe guess.

hell you can go back and look at my post history before the release of BvS, I really wanted it to be awesome. I was even arguing with the people saying the whole concept was stupid. It's a farce that most people actually want the DCEU to fail.

BVS and Suicide Squad were just bad movies.

I actually secretly want DC to do better but I do like the marvel movies better. Outside of Thor and Captain America, my favorite characters all reside in DC.
