Joker could not have counted for half of Harvey’s face being burnt off and being transported to a hospital

Was that just a bonus? And he put Harvey in a room full of explosives, if he survived, he knew he was going to a hosptial and most likely Gotham General.

Also, I thought the whole point of the hospital explosion was to frick with Colman Reese? Maybe I'm remembering that wrong, but seems like he could've had those explosives in place for any amount of time and just waited for the opportunity to use them?

Yeah. Wonder Woman is sitting at probably a 90% approval rating on this Board with a ton of rave reviews. I'm one of the few that found it mediocre at best.

Not just you. Watched it the first time and walked out thinking they finally got one right. Watched it the second time and noticed a lot of the flaws including the biggest, which was Godot's terrible acting. Yes, she is super hot, just not a great actress. It wasn't a terrible movie, just mediocre at best.

He was counting on Batman rescuing him and then planned to frick with Harvey even more once Rachel was dead.

Hopefully Thanos changes the entire tone of these movies.

I wouldn't get my hopes up. I still remember how they marketed Ultron, and we all know how that turned out.

See, this is the shite that pisses me off. How the frick is Wonder Woman a breath of fresh air? Explain it to me. How? It's as boilerplate as it comes for a superhero origin story. I mean frick.

The Winter Soldier was a mess from soup to nuts. An enjoyable mess but not the paragon of comic movie filmmaking it's portrayed to be on here. In fact, any criticism of TWS gets the collective hackles up of the M/TV.

So, it's 51 on metacritic. That's better than I was expecting. With as bad as this movie has been chopped up and reshot, I'm surprised it's functional at all tbh. They basically cut out 70% of Snyders movie. That's insane.

I hope they release the original cut as a DVD extra.

I've enjoyed the Marvel stuff FAR MORE because they've been far more enjoyable movies...but I was never a Marvel fan.

I was agnostic as a kid. My dad used me as an excuse ( ) to buy comics. So, he would buy whatever he wanted, read them, then give them to me. At some point, I lost possession of all those books - and it just kills me. Now, there was no money lost, because we read and stored them like Philistines. We definitely got our money's worth.

Obviously, I read Hulk and Spidey books, the occasional Iron Man or Thor, but only rarely an Avengers or something else like that on the Marvel side. For whatever reason, my old man liked Fantastic Four and did not care for Avengers or X-Men. And Wolverine is the sort of book he should have liked, but he was getting old by the time they were raising the profile of X-Men.

But, on the DC side? Man, we read ALL that stuff. Green Arrow/Black Canary, Justice League, Batman, Superman, World's Finest - hell I probably read as many Flash and Superman books as a kid as I did all Marvel, combined.

Now, once I got to High School, I kind of "rediscovered" Marvel, particularly X-Men. But, I digress.

Doesn't matter. Like an MCU movie JUST ONCE or dislike a DC movie JUST ONCE and RDLC will call you an MCU fanboy...

Saw rotten tomatoes accidentally released the score for a while and it was sitting pretty at 48%. It's better than Batman vs superman and suicide squad, that's really all we can ask at this point.

This is coming from someone who just isn’t into superhero movies, so it may not be worth much, but how many of these movies can they possibly make? How many Spider-Man, Batman, Superman, etc., movies can they make and still keep people interested? Seems like they’ve already burned out their prequels, sequels, trilogy’s..... they have to be running out of source material huh? Are all these movies basically the same (good vs evil, damsel in distress, some random kid tagging along, etc)??

Most of the MCU movies are "meh" - the last good D.C. movie was Superman II with Christopher Reeves.

Come at me, bro.

No. Not even close.

A character like Superman has 8 decades of source material.
