Remember in like the first or maybe early 2nd season the aliens tried to talk Tom into bringing the other humans into a specific safe area to live. Could be where these other humans are from.

Decent episode. The thing with the Baby creeps me out.

I guess Anne is as good as dead now?

Wasn't really impressed with this one, nor where they're taking this. Great...so Hal is now "Jack's infected ear mite"?? And now we have to keep up with Ann the babymaker escapee? Feels like the writers are falling into some very cliche adages about how plot developments should go on serial TV.

Looks like we'll be subjected to a lot of Pope next week, unfortunately

My interest in this show is starting to wane

Actually it's really not that bad. Some of the cliches are a little too obvious but it all depends on how they resolve it. Just hope it's not in a predictable way.

Maybe this way we'll get a resolution on pope sooner than later and he's gone after it. Kinda like ripping the bandaid off. I would rather take pope in one big dose of an episode and have him disappear as opposed to small doses all season long and then disappear.

Things should be better next week.

I was really looking forward to this episode.......and now I'm really disappointed.

For starters, everything involving Anne is terrible. I get that she wants to protect her child, but even she realizes something's not right with Alexis.

So her solution is to knock out the doctor, drug her best friend, and run away. Then what? This storyline is getting so bad it's comical.

And I was hoping we'd get a sense of what's left of the actual government (i.e. how big is their military compared to Charleston's, etc.), but outside of the President, Col. Tigh, and some soldiers running around the hangar, we get nothing.

What exactly is the plan here? To take the message "to the people"? Where?

And it looks like all we get next week is Tom and Pope trying to survive (if they don't kill each other first) in the wilderness. Great.

I really hope this season picks up, because it's been a real let down thus far.

I believe what you saw is what they got. Not much of a military.

I'm even more convinced now that the President and his group are with the bad aliens. The whole goal of their meeting with Tom was to get info and then they took the good alien when the opportunity presented itself. (I'll call this my first Falling Skies Crackpot Theory)

And yeah, the whole thing with Anne and her baby is stupid.

It would be easier for the viewers to digest if we had some sense of at least how it happened. Right now, as far as we know its the immaculate conception. It's creepy enough as it is now without viewers trying to speculate how in the hell we got here. It reminds me of a soap opera: "crazed mother with newborn playing who's the father?"

Tom was captive on the alien ship for a while. Maybe they did something to his DNA then?

I don't really think anything special will happen next week because the previews were pretty tame. Although it implies that general Bressler dies, since the previews only showed Tom and Pope. Bressler probably dies in the plane crash.

That'll work. This is very plausible and what most likely happened.,

BTW, I just shopped the white box out of your sig.

I still loathe the youngest son. Hope that bitch dies soon.

Ben is actually growing on me though. I still hate him, but less than I used to. Nice to see him on the verge of getting some too.

I don't like tha Hal story. At all. I like the idea of him being some sort of mole, but I hated the "good Hal/bad Hal mirror" scene...that was really weird and stupid.

Come to think of it, I think I just may hate all teh actors that play the kids, and that makes me hate their characters. That might be it.

The alien baby story is interesting on paper, but like Stu said...we're just supposed to sit here and try to figure out how it happened without even the slightest clue. Good call on Tom maybe being fricked with when he was aboard the ship..I had forgotten about that. Hopefully that ties into this somehow. But almost everything Anne does is borderline retarded for someone who is so smart. Knocking out the doctor and poisoning Lourdess to knock her out is just REALLY weird behavior.

Hey, Denny...way to break those glasses just because you don't need them. Someone could've used them. One thing that bothers me about the show is how endless their supplies are. I mean, they use SO frickING MUCH ammunition every time they get in a firefight. It's like they mave a munitions plant somewhere and are never even remotely concerned about running out.

Not sure what to think of the President and all that. Seems like it could go either way of legit or something's up. I am leaning toward something being up, and like the crackpot theory above that they could be in line with the Espheni.

Was I the only one disappointed with the plane crash? It was just completely unbelievable for me. They were flying almost straight down...into the forest/trees...hauling arse...and they were just like "Looks like we're walking from here.." I'm sorry, but people don't just survive plane crashes like they're really slow car crashes. "Hey, I'm just gonna slowly run this car into the railing and we'll get out and walk from here..." Okay, that makes at least some sense. You're in a fricking plane falling toward the earth at a high rate of speed, and instead of landing it safely, you're headed right into trees. People don't survive that, let alone walk away from it like it is an inconvenience. For some reason that pissed me off.

I normally like the show, even though some things bother me...but this one had me almost mad by the time it ended for some reason.

They've gone back to stupidly unbelievable mode

So you're telling me that a history professor thinks he can sneak an alien into a meeting with the president and not have the military cart him off? He definitely knows better than that.

Also, the official US military has short wave radio and the 2nd Mass and Charolotte military personnel do too but they have been out of contact with their bosses this whole time

The only way the Anne story line could get worse is if the baby was the mole.

I think PsychTiger's crackpot theory makes a lot of sense. The official US government has some deal in place with the Ashvendi if they help take down the Volm. Then of course once the Volm are out of the way the Ashvendi will break the deal and go back to raping us.

Season 3 is potentially heading towards The Following territory where this thread may become the best thing about watching the show.

Well, the FBI's ability to surround a farmhouse on The Following has a lot in common with the fence around the Terra Nova compound.

bump I watched it last night, enjoyed it but wow you guys are hating on this episode.

I love how the fighting lasted 5 minuets when they were setting it up SO much.

lets spend 3 episodes setting up this massive attack by the skinners and it lasted 5 minuets.

I caught up on 4 episodes of terrible acting and writing yesterday for this thread.

Who knew Pope could cry just as well as he rapes?

Geez......

Looks like we'll finally get some resolution on some of these worn out story arcs. They've been dragging some of this shite painfully long enough.

This season sucks so far

And Spielberg is supposed to be producing/directing this shite right? This is disappointing for him.

I'm really starting to fricking hate that little kid Matt. I know he's just a kid but frick he's such a whiny fricking baby that gets sad then cries then needs to be hugged all the damn time and I'm fed up with it. I want to slap the shite out of him and tell him to grow up. He's been like this all season long. I really think this is done on purpose because the writers have nothing else to add for filler.

Honestly, I think they're trying to stretch this series out for a few more seasons. A show with this premise would be so fricking awesome if it went in dry, blew its wad, and had like an epic 3-4 seasons instead of several seasons where we have to wait a painstakingly long time to get a resolution on matters that are so cliche. Seriously, I prefer an epic few seasons over a boring decade of a series.

But I'm invested in this show and I'm still going to finish it out.
