And yeah, he's always sucked, both as a character and the actor who plays him is pretty bad.
Also, do they do a good job of setting up where the last season left off (like sort of a recap to start the season)? I don't remember what all was going on aside from that little ship thing coming down and the (seemingly) helpful alien walking out.

The time lapse had me a little off, but I like how they started the season. I am really interested to see how this alliance with the new aliens (the Volm?) plays out.

Just watched the first two seasons over the last couple weeks, but I'm traveling this week and wasn't able to watch the premiere. I'll try and catch the replay Sunday morning.

It was pretty damn good. Lots of action and drama all around. I was very intrigued the whole way. This show will never be a world beater like GOT or lost but it's pretty good for what it is. Like I said in the OP, you never feel like you're wasting your time with this show.

I just got into this show within the last few weeks. I'm caught up but now I'm stuck on the west coast. I tried to catch up on my iPad but haven't had a chance to really watch it.
I'm sure once I catch up on GoT, I'll be all in this thread

You probably could jump in and figure out what is going on (or most of it) but I would recommend watching it from the beginning.

I'm in, but I missed the premiere because of GoT.

So I watched the first couple episodes tonight and both were much better than anything last season. These two give me hope that the show will have a solid season.
I really don't like the time jump without catching us up. They must have several flashbacks planned to fill in the gaps.

Been watching since season 1. Good show, I enjoy it.
I thought the lead Rebel Skidder died in season 2? And who is this new chick who is running as a scout with Ben? Assuming Another harnessed kid who is now free

No idea, that's what I'm hoping for backstory on. And I agree that it's most likely another harnessed kid who's free now.
