My bet for the mole is Tom's wife, the doctor. I'm basing this on a few things. First, I seem to remember back in the first season (maybe second) the doctor got infected by one of those little eye drones that she had removed from Tom and put in a jar. She didn't notice it, and nothing ever came of it (till now?). Also, we know its not hal, as he new the real plans and did not reveal them. We also know it was no one that was in the room in that scene where they said they planned to attack from the back of plant because we saw that scene after where the mole snuck in and looked at map with the black light to see the fingerprints. Anyone in the room would not have had to do that. And lastly, the body of the mole looked more female than male.

Just my 2 cents, overall a great premiere episode!

I'm pretty sure Anne (sp?) was giving birth when Manchester was murdered.

Agree it's not Hal and its definitely a chick. You could tell the mole was rather diminutive when they went to kill Manchester

Good point about the birth, forgot about that. Who else wasn't in the room for the meeting?

I'm beginning to think the mole is that new chick who runs with Ben and calls him Bengie.

She knew about the original plan to attack from the back and that's it.

Maybe it's the former narc cop Manchester was talking too.

I don't think so. Unless he lost weight and was wearing a flesh colored bandana over his face, the person that shot Manchester had an average - skinny build. I honestly thought it looked like Ben through the frosted glass, it definitely didn't look like a rotund black guy. Actually Ben or his new girl sidekick would make sense if they were playing misdirection on us. If they truly have the Ashvendi on the ropes then either the Volm or the Skitters are going to become the enemy soon, so Skitters doing something the humans wouldn't like/understand and covering their tracks makes sense.

That is what I think too. It is a female, but who. Maybe Hal's girl friend? Not sure, but I can't think of another female who could fit as the spy.

I liked the premiere, but I did not like the time jump. I wish it would have picked up at the final episode of last season. Lots of good action though. I'm interested to see what the plan is for Hal. I don't like his character, but i am intrigued to see where they are going with the new overlords control over him. And while onthat topic, why would the aliens make a human their new leader? Seems odd to me.

Because they felt they underestimated us and wanted someone in charge that thought like a human. Whatever they've done to her she's on their side now and is not a threat to go against them.

This baby is freaking me out, in the middle of episode two.

I think these new aliens may be trying to trick the humans and take earth for their new home planet. Skiners destroyed their planet and they have been hitchhikers or something along those lines in the galaxy. They are looking for a new place to live, instead of flat out attacking a planet like the skinners did they use the skinners as a way to gain access to a planet, than by tricking the natives of that planet they attempt to over take it. Maybe they have done this alot and are improving in their fighting that is why they are so effective against them. This season will unfold with a continuing distrust in the new aliens proably continual victories of the skinners with some set backs, but then somehow they find out these new aliens new plans and they trya nd secretely rebel against them.

this big weapon will be the central to the new aliens plan.

I think this is why the wife and I enjoy this show so much. All the posibilities of who's going to do what and the twists keep us guessing as who can be trusted and who can't. The big arse mech was awesome and now they have some space guns to blow them away. It seems as if the playing field is starting to level out. This season seems promising to learn alot about the aliens. I think all of us who enjoy it will get a lot of questions answered.

ok I have an idea on the spy

the crazy B lady who is the new overlord tricks hal in these sleep walking and gets him to ring things like keys. She sneeks into the camp, and does her spying. She probably has bugs and stuff like this to let her know when the best time to come in.

IDK just a thought.

I don't think its hal the timing just doesn't make sense. (fighting when the spy looks at the map, with his step mother when she is giving birth)

again just a thought.

Love this show I only have to gripes about it

#1 Popes character got old to me. to the point I almost want to turn the channel when I see him.

#2 I hate that they skipped ahead 7 months. I would have liked to see how it all went down. Hopefully we will get flashbacks to show us.

also Maggie is

I had expressed concern about the 7 month jump, and I do think it hurt a little bit. But now seeing just how preggers she was IRL, I can see why they had to do it. You could sense the writers desperately trying to fill in the gaps to the viewers with a lot of uncharacteristic dialogue amongst the characters.

Otherwise it was a bunch more of the same type episodes we've come to expect and enjoy. I agree, the mole appears to be a female. Maggie, the Mexican doctor chiquita, or the presidential assistant....They only people I think can be eliminated as suspects are all of Weaver's decoy assault team, as they had left before the spy took green laser microfilm pics of the map. I'm not sure what to make of the new E.T. allies yet, although one would assume the rebel skitters would say something or raise a red flag.

The youngest Mason boy: annoying as the frick, and now he looks creole, which is weird. Weird enough that I've pretty much let slide that the oldest son in the wheelchair is supposed to be about 17-18 years old.

And the un-holy things I would do to this poor girl, I should be locked up
