I worked with him on a project back in 2017 and that was the first thing I noticed. He's blunt and straightforward. Doesn't sugarcoat anything or tell people what they want to hear. He'll tell you exactly what he thinks and if he doesn't like something, he will let it be known... which i'll take that over fake, two faced people all day, every day. That said, he's also surprisingly easygoing. He would shoot the shite with anyone. He's direct but also approachable. Never acted like anyone was beneath him which most actors tend to keep to themselves and steer clear of other departments. Harris wasn't like that and if I saw him on the streets, I'd have no reservations about speaking to him. He's also tiny as frick and a heavy chain smoker.

What a cool story.

I see he’s from New Jersey. That may explain the no bs personality.

On-screen analogue to his real life persona may be his Glengarry Glen Ross character

Isnt this one of the common themes with Taylor Sheridan productions?? Actors being miserable?

Well, the big movie stars in his casts.

This show is about Beth and Rip. If he doesn't like it, the writers can have the cartel kill him or something.

Did you watch the interview? He clearly implies that he was told his character would be more central to the storyline. I don’t watch the show, but he says he felt he was misled, but also said when he personally watched, he could see it was a little different than when shooting. Also he was told he could sing as part of the gig and they shot him singing then cut it out of the show.

Clearly you don’t watch the show. He was one of the 4 main characters. Oh no they didn’t play his whole karaoke song in the bar.
They cut it off at the perfect time to end the episode. He seems very entitled and acting like a dick actor.

What does me watching or not watching the show have anything to do with what Ed Harris said in an interview? You asked a question on how he was misled and I answered with what he clearly implied when discussing the show.

You understand that I’m not Ed Harris and those weren’t my words, right? Right?

Yeah it's pretty clear if you watch the entire interview he is fine w/it now and is just talking about how during filming he felt he had been misled about the size of the role.

Funny how people STILL get their asses kicked by click bait headlines and dig instead of simply going "oops, I should have kept reading."
