So seeing as how today is a special one, figured we could talk about some other eclipses.

Apocalypto has to be the mother of all coincidences given what was going to happen to Jaguar Paw.

In Heroes, the Eclipse is retarded because it can be seen in New York and Tokyo simultaneously, and then in the last episode I ever watched, the Eclipse lasted like 8 hounrs and rendered everyone powerless.

Anymore you've got?

I'm guessing the most famous literary/film reference is Twain's A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court.

The worst movie I've ever seen and should be a contender for worst ever made: 1988's Nightfall

Yeah, it's between that and Apocalypto on my favorite use of it.

An eclipse rendered the Megazord powerless in an episode of Power Rangers. Yeah, I'm a nerd.

Because that's not an eclipse, it's a new moon.

Okay, this is probably why I'm not working for NASA.
