Probably. Wondering where Miguel fits into this. He seems like Beulah's personal bodyguard and clean up person.

I thought this episode was silly.

If Rob Will left rehab, rehab would have immediately called Beulah/ Joaquin.

Joaquin said his dad “will be proud”, clearly he is the son of the cartel guy who is running drugs through there. He is headed back to the cartel.

Beulah would have been stupid to sign a contract with the restaurant guy, invite him to a party and then step down. Also why would she step down, she now had Rip running the Ranch, Beth running the business and Joaquin generally looking out for her interests.

Carter spiking th bullhead was silly.

That and now he is partially responsible for what happens to Beulah. I’m not sure how his character can come back from that in any way that fits nicely.

9 episodes a season is ridiculous. 10 should be the minimum.

The scene with Carter at the end was ridiculous. And there's no way Beulah would capitulate to her moron son. Except she did. Poor writing.

My dumbarse thought part of the bulls horns hit Beulah in the neck when Carter crushed it but now I’m thinking she had a stroke.

I don’t see how Rip and Beth can stay at the 10P after this. I don’t see how the restaurant guy stays as a client.

So how do they now shift back to the Dutton Ranch. Maybe the restaurant account can stay with Beth, but where does the cattle come from to fill the contract.

They don't really have any options. Rob Will is gonna take over running things and will probably start off playing all nice with Rip and Beth. Rip won't want any part of it but Beth will talk him into staying since they have no other option.

Beulah will probably be in the hospital for a while and it will be a waiting game to see if she recovers. Joaquin said he'd kill Rob-Will if he ever came back, so we'll see what happens there.

The only part of this show I'm not liking is Carter's character. He's acting like a dumbass non-stop. I hope that changes soon lol

Yup. hate what they have done to his character .

Although.....

Beth and Rip have pretty much left him alone. They don't spend much time with him and don't talk to him much.

At this point in life, he is a barely literate farmhand. Nice guy but that is what he is. Kind of what the Sheriff pointed out to him.

Beth and Rip screwed him taking him to a high society function like that. I bet he never been to one before and let's be honest, at those things, the rules and social graces are different. If you're not used to it, it can be a bit overwhelming to a young kid as it was to Carter.

The bit where Oreana tells him to be a bull or a steer. She was being a bit of a bitch but she was right. He was whining and not doing anything with his life. She basically said get some balls and ambition, you don't have to be rich, just get some.

Beth and Rip need to have a come to _____ meeting with him and take more active interest in his life. And that starts with when Beulah recovers, make him go apologize to her and take his punishment like a man.

Definitely a stroke and actually a really good portrayal when she's on the ground.

Beth should have took her own advice and loaded her 2 clowns up and road the horses back home after 2 hours.

We all could see Carter was about to do some dumb shite. But they exceeded my expectations with that last scene.

Lol

So, this is how the real feud starts?

Carter does something dumb, causes mama b to have a stroke. This on the night she turns the ranch over to psycho son.

This is what happens when you adopt the son of an addict.

The last episode was laughably awful

Horrible writing

Never thought it could be bad enough to consider bailing on this show, but here we are

I'm still waiting for the part where the Dutton Ranch comes in. They should have named the show 10 Petal

still no?

For those who have watched both, is it better or worse than Marshals? Not sure I'm ready for another Taylor Sheridan series where every episode is a near death experience, but never from the shootouts

I tried to watch Marshall’s I gave up after a couple episodes, it just wasn’t for me. I think Dutton Ranch is much more enjoyable
