Watched the first episode and a little bit of the second.
Totally didn't like the Annette Benning character, and anything resembling authenticity of a Texan from her was lost with two words from her "you guys" instead of "y'all".
Question for the native Texans, never heard one saying "you guys", am I correct.

I know a few life-long southerners that say you all instead of yall and I am shocked by it every time

I agree with you, but "you all" is a lot more southern than "you guys".

It’s fine because half of texas is from California and the other half is from Mexico

And half of those are remnants from when it was mexico before it was texas

Better than thought. Toned down Beth. Oreana is a smoke show!

Watch both episodes and I have enjoyed it so far.

Much better than I thought it would be.

I have not watched a single moment of Yellowstone.
I have watched both 1883 and 1923. Enjoyed them both.
Should I be able to watch Dutton Ranch without ever having watched Yellowstone?

I think so..You really need to find out the hisory of Beth and Rip and what drives them.
YS is Cowboy porn at it's finest.

Noticed this myself. Maybe Jamie being gone has toned her down some.

Instead of pissing and moaning about that one aspect, how is the show overall?

I'll chime in..I think it was a good start. I was wondering how they would handle the compelling reason they moved from Montana to south Texas and they did it well enough.
Being familiar with the three principle characters and their backstory makes understanding the overview much easier.
Beth and Rip will continue to be a force of nature but Beth is doing things her way and not her father who was often wrong .
Annette Being and Ed Harris had really strong opening.
I'm very pleased with the opening

Watched the first 2, I liked everything but Annette Benning as a tough, evil cowgirl girlboss. She’s there though to give Beth a foe, Rip can’t go punch Annette Benning in the face but Beth can.
It’s basically the same setup as season 3 of Tulsa King, the enemy across town with a crazy, unhinged son that the bad guy (woman) manipulates to do their bad deeds. I’m willing to go along for the ride.

I agree with you…Beth can’t destroy her fast enough.
I really like the Ed Harris character.

So far halfway through Ep2.
Love it so far. Always good to see Rip kick a little d-bag arse. Always good to see Taylor Sheridan’s hand picked hotties.
Ed Harris and Annette Bening are two of my favorite actors ever. I’ll give Bening a little grace.

I had low expectations after the first episode of Marshalls. These first 2 episodes were GREAT. They learned from the new Scrubs to ground Beth like in the early seasons. I wanted to kill Beth in the later seasons of Yellowstone.
Oreana is a smoke show. My only 2 issues is her bee sting ridiculous lips for a 25 year old girl and that trashy tat on her right thigh that is so obvious. Carrie Underwood went from a OT9 to a OT5 with those lips and plastic surgery.
This is her mother by the way

I feel like I use both you guys & y’all.

Has Beth showed her tits yet?
