Lived it so no reason to watch a tv version.

First few years were gold but it hung around way too long.

This was my guilty pleasure for the first 4-5 years it was on. Definitely took me back to my childhood in the 80s.

It was awesome until they ousted the creator.

I loved it for most of its run until they ran Jeff Garlin (Murray) off. Being a teenager in the 80s, I did find myself picking apart the mistakes though.

First 4-5 seasons were great. Then it just became bland and repetitive and I heard it got infected with wokeness in 2020 so yeah.

It’s insane to me how much their family’s life in the 80’s resembled my childhood/tween years in the late 90’s-early 2000’s. Barry reminds me so much of my oldest brother, and Erica is sorta similar to my middle brother (musician), granted, the middle brother had his JTP.
Anyways, it’s like they watched my parents and wrote down everything they said and did to make this show. It’s so crazy relatable.

kinda sorta not really.
I like some episodes individually but overall the complete lack of care about getting the correct continuity for the time period ended up making me irrationally annoyed to the point I couldn't focus on the actual show.

Agreed. The "It was June, 1980-something" intro voice-over snippet always bugged me.
If you're going to do the '80s, do it right.

Hell yeah. At least the first few seasons.

I watched the first couple of seasons and kinda liked it, but I thought it got repetitive and was sticking around too long so stopped watching after maybe season 4-5ish
No idea what happened to the characters after that

It was a good show for a few seasons, but it got stale. We quit watching before the last season.

Holy shite. This show had a 10 year run?!?! That’s crazy. I’ve never heard anyone really talk about it either. Can’t believe they managed to squeeze 10 seasons out of it.
