Casino Royal was the last movie I remember. The last memory I have was renting Gears of War 2 and the clerk removing the disc and shoving it in my face and saying no scratches. I guess implying it better not come back scratched up or something. It was awkward.

I remember buying a couple movies when a location went out of business: Avatar and Fanboys

Bonus question: Do you still have your membership card?
I don't remember the last movie I rented from a Blockbuster, but I do still have my card.

No idea on rental, but I know during our local one's going out of business sale, I bought a few. Pretty sure I got There Will Be Blood and No Country for Old Men for like $4 a piece.

Not sure of the movie, but I remember the circumstance. I worked at a bank branch where only the drive through was open on Saturday. We'd have a teller run the drive through, and a banking officer just sitting there doing nothing unless a problem came up.
So I would watch movies on my laptop.
Before Blockbuster bit the bullet, someone had given me a $5 gift card for Christmas. I went to the Blockbuster on Vets near Bonnabel. When I tried to use the gift card to rent a movie, I was told that they were no longer accepting gift cards. They started closing their stores a month later.
I don't still have a Blockbuster card, but I used to mange one back in the day, and I still remember my employee number (which also acted as an account number even after I quit.)

Pretty sure it was one of the Saw movies but I don’t remember which one it was. Either 2 or 3

Yeah, I go there just about every week. Arsenic and Old Lace.

Not Blockbuster, but before the video store in my town closed the last movie I rented there was Ironman.

May 21, 2011. If you remember Harold Camping predicted the rapture would take place they night so my roommate and I thought it would be fun to get drunk and watch Left Behind and make fun of how terrible that movie is. Pretty sure he forgot to take it back for a while and had a late fee on his account when they went out of business
