Again you are missing the point. You are trying to say that the other poster is saying only how much money a movie makes determined if the movie is good or not. You are saying he is wrong. He is not. If a movie is good (both critics and audience give favorable reviews/scores), it will make money. There are outliers as well. There are some movies that are bad but make money and some movies that are good that don't.

You wanted to compare a spin off summer blockbuster movie that was promoted to the fan base audience of those characters and actors to a movie that came out in what is called the "dead period" in the movie theater industry (between end of summer and Christmas). I showed why SR did not perform well.

Snow White is not good and won't make money bc the critics and audiences agree that the movie is bad. Snow White is not going up against any other competition and has a brand name as well target audience. No reason for it to not make money other than it sucks.

Consumers (the audience) are only going to pay for something if the product/service is good. Movies, restaurants, sporting events, concerts, etc. If the product/service is not good, people will not attend or spend money.

Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves got 91% from critics and 92% from audiencr. It didnt make money.

Youre pretty dense if you think you can determine how good a movie is by how much money it made despite the hundreds/thousands of examples otherwise. Godzilla x Kong, Venom; Last Dance, and Gladiator 2 made a lot more money than Anora last year.

At this point I’m a bit surprised at the vitriol towards Zegler from the anti-wokes. She has done more to dismantle Disney’s woke agenda than any nerdrotic video or whinging on a college football message board could ever do.

Again you are not comprehending what is being said. There are OUTLIERS to movies that are good but don't make money and movies that are not as good and do make money.

Your whole point of all this is that only "verified" people who saw the movie can voice their opinion. Not acknowledging that some if not the majority will give it praise bc they are hardcore followers of that brand regardless if they truly think the movie sucks. It won't be an honest review.

For a movie like Snow White, there should be no reason this movie does not make a profit. It has the history of the story. The animated film is a classic that put Disney on the map. It created a lot for Disney. You are just being obtuse at this point.

No her purpose in both the original and live action was to not be killed by the queen. She found true love along the way in both films.

I haven't seen the original in a while but in the live action once she was in the woods, her main purpose (besides staying alive) was to find her father and put him back in charge. Rather starnge for a feminist to overthrow a girl boss (evil queen) to restore the reign of a Cis White Male (her father).
