Yep, this is a truly phenomenal show. One of the best series Netflix made.
Coln cracks me up any time he gets going. Probably the best bit part character I have ever seen.

I know Netflix likes to put "Netflix Original" on all the Brit shows they have but I don't think they actually make them.

Yeah the show is made by Channel 4 in Ireland but streamed by Netflix I think

Thanks for the recc. Started it last night and watched first four episodes. Very funny and really well done. Thinking about watching one or two before starting my day.

Just started, show is fricking hilarious.
But...you need subtitles and you need to watch it with extreme focus...the dialogue zips along like an Italian movie.
"I hope we don't get expelled."
"Nobody actually ever gets expelled. Wanda Gallagher hasn't been expelled and she's in the IRA."
"So that's probably why."
"I can't find the boys toilets anywhere."
"It's an all-girls school dick face. There are no boys' toilets."
"So should I just use the girls' toilets?"

Just finished Season 1. Great show , moves at high pace and the writing if excellent.
I watched a few episodes without subtitles and I just could not keep up. Even with subtitles it move so fast but almost every line is meaningful and funny.
The "dog tears" on Mary had me laughing out loud!!

Just found out that the main actress (Erin) was born in Derry and her parents ran a village pub.
