Oh surprise, Centinel skips an actual response and resorts to name calling.

Madking would be proud.

Oh surpise...a MTV post that is political and here you are. Apologies that you were not the one to initiate the politics.

Speaking of things living rent free in someone's head.

This response is more fart-sniffing arrogance than the Deadline review ever hoped to be. No knock on the response, but it is.

The Deadline review seemed to say the movie was going to be divisive and that’s about it. It may be setting up the movie for an easy excuse if it fails at the box office.

One Battle After Another, which swept through awards season and the Oscars.

I have a problem with this statement. That was a terrible movie. Decaprio did a great job acting as usual, but the Sean Penn character was such a caricature of a person. Way over the top on the character.
It was just a smear job of CBP and our military while praising anarchist/communist.

Winning awards doesnt mean its good

It means it tickled the fancy of elitist leftists in the film industry

Clowns can downvote away but he is right and you fricking know it unless you are braindead.

Crash should have won a Raspberry Award not Academy. Hollywood elitist and their virtue signaling propelled it to victory. It was dogshit.

One of the most appropriate titles for a film in years, if not ever.

Getting through each additional minute of that "film" was precisely One Battle After Another.

Coming in at 53% on RT. Not good. Honestly, the trailers have done nothing for me. May give it a shot but im not pumped about it.

Why, they are not wrong. It was successful and that was their point. They made no comment on it being good or bad, just that the studio took a chance on a big budget that was a bit out of the norm and it was successful.

Tom Cruise's "Digger" is tracking for a domestic opening in the $12 million to $15 million range. Projections were originally near $20 million but were revised down in recent days.

All eyes have been on Cruise to see if he can deliver a much-needed win for Warner Bros. amid a bleak year for the studio at the box office. WB has not had a single movie cross $100 million domestically (by comparison, seven of its films did so in 2025) and has lost millions of dollars in theaters on the likes of "The Bride," "Supergirl" and "The End of Oak Street."

"Digger" was greenlit at $125 million, but according to sources the budget climbed to $160 million to $180 million after production went over schedule. A Warner Bros. spokesperson disputes those figures. The studio says the movie needs to earn $300 million to break even in theaters.

Not true. Everyone loves Gene Wilder's Willy Wonka.

We've removed from the planet the few inhuman monsters who didn't like it.

I like when actors break from their normal roles. I'm hoping this deviation character works for him as well as Les Grossman did in Tropic Thunder.

this didn’t make money? I’m shocked by that. It will do very well on streaming though, classic rewatchability potential

Why they never did a follow up movie based on Les is beyond me. He could even pull an Ak out at some point and no one would bat an eye.

I guess it could be rewatchable simply because of dinosaurs, but man that was an awful story and even a more ridiculous ending. So much dumb in that movie

I figured it would have made money though but looks like it had a 80ish million budget and just using basic 2x it would have had to have made at least 160 million to break even. It's currently at 120 worldwide.

Every trailer/clip I've seen shows Cruise overacting in bad prosthetic makeup.

I may wait until I can watch it at home.
