I can’t wait.
Didn’t have any real expectations for season 1 as that hit right around quarantine and it was great.
Some fantastic episodes and scenes like the milking table and it’s callback later in the season.
The wedding and the parallel between the show and the song “Molly” dealing with his breakup .

Reminds me a bit of Atlanta, with a blend of awkward comedy, weirdness, and a background heaviness. Amazing that they weaved all that together and still maintained an almost stunning level of production.
Hard to think of many shows right now that could manage to pull off that full range, from the absurdity of the carrot/hiking scene to the “holy shite” moment of the interview finish in the first season.

I hope they continue to write Gata's character the exact same. He is such a good dude to Dave. Even when letting everybody know about him being bipolar, he knew it was a difficult thing but still wanted to be the best for Dave and not let that affect Dave's potential.
The fact he didn't let the Breakfast Club get to Dave with that cultural appropriation bullshite showed that Gata knows Dave is the real deal and appreciates the friendship they've created.

One of my favorite quick cuts to black was in the episode where Maclemore shows up. That ending jab was like something straight out of Curb Your Enthusiasm.

So I watched the first 2 episodes of this when it came out a year ago, and forgot all about the show.
Randomly found it on Hulu 2 days ago and binged it. Man this show is great, and I'm excited season 2 is coming.
I really need Dicky to go ahead and release the last 6 minutes of Jail.
