What the frick did I just watch the first 20 minutes? 
And shite. Those last few minutes. The chemistry of Dave and Ally is what the first two episodes was missing.
Holy shite. He really just puked on her back. Holy shite what an amazing episode.

I'm a little behind, but this is pretty meh so far.
Great scene with Ally in the hall though.
Also really liked the Rythym & Flow scene with GaTa and how that worked out.
All in all not a bad episode after seeing the finish.

Just watched it. Not bad, but this season definitely hasn’t lived up to last season. I’m just hoping we hear some music soon, but at this rate I don’t expect we will anytime soon.

This was definitely my favorite episode of the young season so far. Biggest laugh was when Gata was talking about whatever country it was still being in 2013 but having to respect them for doing their own thing

So. We had the parody Paul brothers this episode. Gata should have smacked the shite out of them more than that.

I really like how GaTa can be super chill, super supportive but also can switch the flip real quick if he's disrespected. His character is so amazing.

Gata is quickly turning from the great side character into the only one worth watching the show for now.
Another ep I felt that Mike just can't catch a break. He reminds me of E from Entourage, but a more realistic version of the hardships that come with dropping your normal life and job to jump into the entertainment industry. I am speaking solely on that aspect. Not his characters persona like E being a complete bitch. I like how he's trying to expand his management business, however I would have preferred something else than the Paul brothers parody.
Dave didn't completely annoy me this episode but I just don't understand why we can't get a happy balance of his personal life journey along with his music. The ending scene of S1 made me so excited to see more of that and now we are 4 eps in with no music other than the dumbass Korea and KAJ songs.
I'm team Ally on putting her foot down on Dave in the school hallway. She hit the nail on the head when she told him how even his attempt at charity was self motivated. I truly believe Dave has good intentions but he's just so tone deaf to his deliveries. When Kareem said "that is the greatest excuse of being narcissistic" it got me laughing.
I'm not completely throwing in the towel on the show yet, but I need some more Lil Dicky music footage with Gata doing his hype man ish in the background asap!

His character is clearly spiraling with the loss of Ally / inability to make music / figuring out what type of person he is. It's a tough watch obviously, hopefully we see a big payoff soon

What's the payoff? He hasn't put out any music, outside of a couple singles, IRL in years, and he's such a perfectionist that if he doesn't think his album is immaculate he wont release it.
There's only so many times I can listen to Professional Rapper. I still don't think he drops an album after this season, which is a bummer.
