We saw him live a month or so back in Tampa. He opened with this story and the crowd erupted.
Madison Cawthorne was also in the audience. Dave found out and even acknowledged him. Then went through with that bit too. LOL

It was a funny twist for sure
I have to say though, not trying to be that guy whatsoever, but his specials just get more and more underwhelming to me. He’s an absolute legend and maybe the bar is just that high at this point. But his last couple just haven’t felt like the event that Chappelle shows have always been
That said, I still marvel at what a spectacular storyteller he is. The guy can just make a story about nothing entertaining due to his charm
