My mother has been very open she and her sister would always go to gay bars because they felt safest there.

I remember there was a gay dance club north of LSU that girls would go to for dancing if they just wanted to dance and not deal with dudes hitting or grinding on them.

I knew one dude in college who I was pretty convinced was not gay who loved to go to gay bars. We all, naturally, asked him why.
He said it was for the drugs. He claimed that there were lots of drugs in those haunts. I'm guessing it was X and cocaine he was talking about.
