Was in Vienna a few years ago. Bars close early there. Only thing nearby was a gay bar. Met a woman and had sex in a park. At least I think she was a woman.

Yeah English pubs are nothing like what they show in Guy Ritchie movies. Usually dark, quiet, lot of wood furniture, university professor types and working stiffs hanging out in a booth in groups of 2-3.
Hung out at the Eagle and Child and the Rose and Crown when I was at Oxford. Don’t think I ever heard so much as a raised voice.
Pubs in London may be different. Full disclosure, I’ve never been to one on a Premier League match day; maybe that’s when the crazy shite goes down.

ETA I once meet a retired Marine drill SGT who said never get in a fight with a gay dude. He said they fight for fun. Said he saw a gay guy beat 3 dudes up outside a diner in GA one time. Also had a bus driver on a trip say the same thing. He and his brother got their arse kicked by 1 gay dude one time. Said the dude punched them all the way into the car as they drove off.

The best part of gay bars is the hole you can stick your dick through to get a free blowie. I’m not even sure what kind of machine they use, but it’s the best!

Went out in Boystown Chicago once with a group of friends, the girls wanted to do karaoke. It was not a bad time.
The other time was during Mardi Gras when I was at LSU. Went in to a bar to take a leak and, being an OOS student, didn't realize I had wandered over to St Ann or that there was such a thing as the Lavender Line. That was a bad time.
