Kevin Smith got cross ways with Adam Corolla re a project a few years ago and Adam just laid it out how big of a puss Kevin was.

So. Much. Cringe.

Before they have non-comics on, they should probably make sure that they know how to read/deliver a joke.

I just saw the Ed Norton part. That was actually pretty good. Did the whole self-parody thing about his own a-hole reputation in Hollywood while gently roasting Willis. And the part about "keep a marriage together when 22 is still on the menu" was hilarious the way he slid that in.

I didn't know they were actually friends and he had a sincere thank you at the end.

ETA, I just realized how much better the roast is without Lisa Lampanelli.

You can only take material about getting railed by black guys so far.

I enjoyed it and would put it in the middle. Not the funniest but not the worse.

In today’s PC culture they can’t get away with what Ross and Giraldo use to say

I feel stupid but what’s the joke behind this?

Most of the roasts seem to be about 50% roasting the other people, not the person there to be roasted.

I mean, funny or not, I think they spent more time roasting Andy Dick at Shatner's roast than they did roasting Shatner.

That said, George Takei was funny as hell during that.

Carrot Top on Flavor Flav roast was epic. They crucified him.

1) Giraldo was the GOAT

2) Jeselnik is a savage

3) Lamapnelli got her 15 minutes

4) Ross cashing them checks

I believe he's referring to Bruce still being able to pull extremely young tail. "Men" is supposed to be "menu".

I thought Dom Irrera was far and away the funniest last night.

You could clearly tell that Dennis Rodman had the roast writers write his set, but even still I thought he was funny. The delivery of his Edward Norton “Ed” joke was all him in the execution, and I thought that was hilarious

After those, I thought Martha Stewart, Jeff Ross, and Nikki Glaser were funny as well

Decent enough show

I just would have thought with an A lister like Willis there would have been a more impressive line up

and I thought rodman was just terrible

I thought Norton was good as a change of pace. It's good to see a little break from 1-liner insult comedy.

Martha Stewart delivered again as the 'Barbara Billingsly in Airplane!' style performance.

I thought Dom Irrera going on a profanity laden rant sexually explicit rant, ending with "she's just like her mother, I tell ya!" was a good call back to the Friar's club roast days.

JGL looked a little too stiff as the roastmaster.

Willis hasn't been an A-lister in over a decade.

Jeff Ross was hilarious and usual, and Rodman was surprisingly funny. My two favorites by far were Dom Irrera and Martha Stewart.

Surprised this hasn't been discussed further. JGL can't handle the job. His timing is way off.

I suspect he probably opted to let writers write his jokes, or perhaps he wasn’t given the option and was forced to be given other people’s material rather than writing stuff himself as some of his stuff really seemed like generic by the numbers network approved jokes for a host.

I usually hate Ross and think he is SUPER overrated. But he did okay last night.

I thought Glaser tried a little too hard to be gross. She wasn’t Sarah Silverman bad, but dammit she was trying to be. She looked good though. She reminded me so much of Cartman on SP a season or two ago when he kept making fun of how funny girls are.

Ed Norton was solid and I agree that he was a nice change of pace. And I loved how at the end you couldn’t tell if he was sincere or acting. And I bet it was likely a little of both.

Stewart was solid. As was Irrera. I thought Rodman sucked and was sort of weird (go figure), but they always seem to have someone there who is just weirdly out of place. And I guess he was that this time.

I wish Jeselnik would’ve done it. And obviously I wish Giraldo was still alive and doing roasts. He was the GOAT for me (I never watched the really old ones, but I imagine Rickles is the true GOAT). And I agree that the Flavor Flav one was great...when GG told Flavor Flav he looked like a burnt match, I lost my shite.

I thought JGL did an okay job. And I thought Bruce’s stuff at the end was not bad. Demi Moore was also solid.
