Oppenheimer put him over the top with eight, breaking a three-way tie he had with Martin Scorsese and Stanley Kubrick:

Memento (2000): #56 on the IMDB Top 250
Batman Begins (2005): #129 on the IMDB Top 250
The Prestige (2006): #43 on the IMDB Top 250
The Dark Knight (2008): #3 on the IMDB Top 250
Inception (2010): #14 on the IMDB Top 250
The Dark Knight Rises (2012): #70 on the IMDB Top 250
Interstellar (2014): #24 on the IMDB Top 250
Oppenheimer (2023): #29 on the IMDB Top 250

Obviously some of these shouldn’t rank so highly, but he’s a legend anyways.

I’d be curious how many John Ford has on this list.

Completely forgot that The Prestige came out after Batman Begins.

Tenet should be on that list. Dark Knight Rises should not. Prestige should be top ten.

The Prestige being ranked at 43 is wild.
Interstellar being rated higher is criminal.

It’s(The Joker) a deeper and more thoughtful movie than anything Nolan could come up with

this is a top 5 movie in my list, but i've been surprised to see the love it's gotten as of late appearing at the top of a lot of letterbox and imdb lists.

i feel like it was liked, not loved at release but people have come around on it a lot.

i don't think he's indicting Interstellar, just that Prestige is ranked below it.

I rank Interstellar higher because of the broad scope of the film and the score, but Prestige is probably the better made movie without the cheese factor.

No

One of the worst movies from a highly regarded director I've ever seen. All of his bad traits rolled into one. Horrid

Tenet made me feel stupider.

But I loves me some Nolan.

It's like an AI wrote a Nolan film.

it's by far my least favorite Nolan film but it's still enjoyable.

it was at least an original thought.

Dark Knight Rises, Prestige, and maybe even Memento don't make my Top 250 (I really tried to love Memento, watched it several times but something is missing from me giving it more than an 8.25 - I think it's a very creative film though) and I get the Nolan love on IMDB - it is what it is
