I’m 40 and I’ll put late 90s/early 2000s Rock against anyone in my lifetime

I still listen to some of his old bits.

Black people vs N word

Gun Control

OJ - “ not saying I agree with it, but I understand”

Plutonic Friends

So genius

I tried to go back and watch it on Netflix and all they have is a trailer. I can’t imagine they aren’t going to release it? Am I looking in the wrong spot?

I have a feeling that phrase with the pic of Rock holding the mic out is going to become almost as iconic of this whole incident as the slap itself (or at least enough that it lives in Will's head for a looooooong time).

Never piss off a comedian, especially one of Chris Rock's caliber.

The Will and Jada bit was artfully written. It was very carefully constructed. He called him a bitch about 20 times without calling him a bitch. He then comes off as a fanboy and starts rooting for massa in emancipation. fricking hilarious.

Which reminds me of one of his older bits:

quote:

Everybody needs a prenuptial agreement.

People think you gotta be rich to get a prenup. Oh no!

You got 20 million and your wife want 10, big deal! You ain’t starvin’.

But if you make 30,000… and your wife want 15, you might have to kill her.

This was good. The 1st half was brilliant and then slipped a bit and rallied back with Will "Bitch" Smith

I'd love for Will Smith to respond and get into a war of words with him. I want to see the meltdown of that arrogant piece of shite as long as possible

Some use the words brilliant & genius to describe CR, and rightfully so. He has a near genius level IQ. I liked Rock before, but after CB4 came out I became more of a fan & saw an interview where they mentioned his intelligence. He seemed a bit embarrassed by it, & they didn’t go into great depths regarding his IQ, but made a point to mention it. Wish I could find that interview.

He is the GOAT. I’d gladly help him whip Will Smith’s arse. But the main difference between a guy like Rock & a guy like Smith, is their intelligence. Rock’s is superior to Smith’s.

Will Smith is or never has been funny.

I'm older than that. And I won't. To each his own, but I find him overrated AF.

He doesn't belong in the same breath with Pryor, Murphy, and especially Dave Chappelle. Not innovative or controversial like someone like Kaufmann.

He's just about like Kevn Hart...who isn't that funny either.

Glad he got to get the Will Smith stuff off his chest.

I’m not gonna lie, the part where he said he gave me a concussion, and then said wait I messed up my joke was the funniest part. Because it was ironically funny. Dude slapped the shite out of him, but the joke was about his movie concussion that he did years ago

Will Smith... Big man when slapping skinny arse Chris Rock. Wish it had been Gervais making the jokes. He would have dropped Smith.

The concussion mix up joke was BRILLIANT. Constantly calling Will Smith a bitch too was incredible. He buried him without directly attacking him and appreciated his words about Jada. No one attacks her for the bullshite that spews out of her mouth 24/7 so she needed calling out.

Bragging about his kids and white privilege was pretty annoying though.

Chris Rock is significantly more funny and clever than Kevin Hart

Kevin Hart is no where near Chris Rock. Chris Rock and Chappelle are next level with Dave being in a category of his own.

Chris and Dave are for there generation what Eddie was for the 80s and Richard Pryor was for the 70s. Different league...

Just finished it. I didn’t get that it was part of the joke. I thought he really screwed with the way he reacted to saying it.
