Attell was great, even with that setup. He got as many laughs as the ham and egger whose HBO special was basically in the can.

Colin Quinn on the other hand walked up the same night with no recorder, read his bullet points off of his BlackBerry (again, wasn’t yesterday), and never looked at the audience once. I wondered aloud if he had lost a bet with someone and had to do 10 min at a Tuesday late show.

I would love to see Patrice O’Neal today talk about all the shite that is going on in the world.

I thought it was pretty funny. His constant "M'Kay?" after every sentence and set up got pretty annoying pretty quickly, but mad respect for Chris Rock. He's a legend.

From his abortion segment, I honestly can't tell if he's pro-choice, or pro-life.

I wish this metric didn't matter so much. The average person puts almost zero thought into abortion. Yet it's this huge hot button issue.

I grew up a huge CR fan but barely chuckled through this, I thought it was pretty weak overall

Hell, you could even tell the crowd wasn't as into it.

A lot of the crowds suck at these big comedy tapings of the big name guys. It’s like they know they’re on TV and don’t want to laugh at shite that could be seen as offensive.

I almost didn't watch, because of this thread. However, I thought it was decent with a few funny moments, but I'm pretty easy.

What a world when watching an hour of entertainment and working for an hour earns you the title of hardest working man in the business. I wish I was funnier and could have been a comedian.

wasn't bad, wasn't great

given his live audience in Baltimore, the bits on his daughter kind of came off like this to me

The "I was taught not to fight in front of white people" ending seemed like it had a bigger meaning that I wasn't understanding. In black culture, was he saying he was raised right and Smith wasn't?
