Chris Pratt should be the next Indiana Jones type, either with Lucasfilm or without them

Just imagine how fun an Indy film would have been with Pratt as Indy's long lost nephew or son, or neighbor... Who gives a shite, just get those two on screen playing off each other and then give Pratt a spinoff series of his own after the film.

They would have had a very similar dynamic to Connery/Ford on screen, plus we already know Pratt can play that part in his sleep because he already did it in Jurrasic World.

... Or Pratt should just be creating an Indy ripoff film right now. Either way, there isn't a more perfect guy ever to pick up the mantle. He would be a hell of a lot better than fukng fleabag....

Disney is a female based brand. From the princesses, to what they've done with Star Wars and now Indy.

Pratt is far too high T for that company.

We've already got Tom Holland in that Uncharted movie and whoever they get for the inevitable Tomb Raider reboot.

I like Holland but that first film was beyond terrible and he does not have nearly the same "Indiana Jones" masculinity and look that Pratt does.

I don't think he'd have to worry about that...

Or…..just not make more Indiana jones movies. We’ve got a few classics out of it, it had a good run. Let it breathe a little

I’d love to see an Indy reboot but forget about Indiana. Make stories similar to the franchise but there’s no need to have anyone be Indy’s nephew or son or whatever.

You have a fun time (1930s) where archaeology was popular and you had Nazi enemies pre WW2. Just write stories with a new character.

This. Disney is a brand for little girls and women.

A humble straight white male who has shown constant love for his wife and God.

Yeah Disney gonna jump all over that.

It’s a shame Vikander was let down by a shitty game adaptation.

That’s such an easy, obvious answer that Hollywood will instead cast a trannie

Pratt already did the Indy thing sort of as Star-Lord. He’s get my money as Indy.

You know how the show Tool Time was basically rebooted as Last Man Standing?

I’d prefer something like that that an absolute reboot. Like National Treasure but more alpha.

Jungle Cruise had Nazis and that worked…

Yeah Disney gonna jump all over that.

Didn’t Disney already jump all over that by making him an international movie star with Guardians of the Galaxy?

Or Nic Cage in National Treasure. Indiana Jones dies with Ford. No spin-off, because the comparison will always be there. Need to give Pratt his own adventure. (not "action") franchise.
