Depends what era of Jolie you are talking about.
She looked unconventionally interesting in Hackers and I liked the leather and hooker outfits in Mr And Mrs Smith.
In general though the gushing she gets is a bit much.
And to get back to Fatal Attraction... I saw Anne Archer go full frontal as Mrs Robinson on stage in The Graduate and I certainly would have done her then, which was a good 15 years after FA. Looked good well into what had to be her 50s at the time.

I came here to agree with:
Doesn't shake things up.
I still think Maggie because of the inverse relationship bw her bad looks and the movie working so hard to put her over as being hot but Dunst is a strong number two.

Speaking of Anna Gunn...I'm a huge Seinfeld fan. I can watch Seinfeld everyday and never grow tired of it.
But consider me caught off guard when I saw a younger Anna Gunn playing one of his short-lived girlfriends. She was the one that George claimed to have seen making out with Jerry's cousin Jeffrey. Of course, George wasn't wearing his glasses and didn't see what he thought he saw.
She was like 25 at the time and still didn't really look all that good.

I understand the appeal of DSLs but they're not really a turn-on for me.

The problem with Jolie (and she is no doubt sexy as hell) is her features are so sharp that when she gets too thin or as she ages she can look pretty haggard.
