The people who are offended by "controversial" comedy have the option to not watch. But that's not good enough, they want everyone else to be as miserable as they are. And it's worked for years because as you said, comedy has been completely neutered as far as film and stand-up is concerned.
You can hear the frustration in Bill Burr's voice when he speaks because he knows that one slip up and they'll ruin him first chance they get. CK got kicked out of the club, they pretty much tried to run Dave out after he said give Trump a chance, etc.
I subscribe to the Bill Maher theory of PC bitchers, tell them to frick off and ignore them.

It really is ridiculous though lmfaoo often dave makes up crazy stories for fun (baby selling crack, asian plane hijacker taking blacks hostage, "thats doo doo baby", etc.) he didnt have to make up shite for this one!!

This is the best part about this whole jussie deal. The story is hysterical without needing to be embellished at all. Not one detail jussie gave is believable, not a single detail.
