Had no idea he was sick. Wow.

Is this why we saw stories about a woman taking over for Black Panther?

was it known that he had cancer? I had literally never once heard that. Could just be me being oblivious but man this seemed to come out of nowhere.

Just heard that on Nerdrotic. He must have filmed the movie while he had cancer, I suppose. Horrible.

Really enjoyed him as BP and was hoping to see other movies of him. This is totally out of left field and sucks. Prayers to him, his wife and family. Very sorry about the loss

Certainly not publicly, they must’ve done a great job keeping that on the DL. Terrible. Frick cancer.

Had absolutely no idea he was sick. How horrible. And a fine actor at that.

Damn. It’s truly remarkable that he was able to accomplish what he did since 2016.

So sad. I remember thinking he was losing quite a bit of weight, but I just assumed he was returning to more "normal" after bulking for Marvel movies.
