[img]'m sure they're going to somehow write in Tchallas off-screen death somehow into the script and find a way to honor him nicely. But at this point, I just can't see Shuri taking over full-time and being anywhere near as good.

No Shuri won’t hold a candle to Chadwick, but knowing Marvel I’ve bet they’ve got a little footage to use where they let T’Challa ride off into the sunset or something. Disney did it with Leia after all.

I don’t see his death mentioned as being off screen but we’ll see

Because all you had to do was Google his name before replying

Maybe the fact you took the time to sound like a dickhead with your post before typing his name into Google

I could see the leader of the Dora Milaje [forget her name] becoming Panther but yea Shuri doesnt seem a good choice.

Shame they made Killmonger so evil and uncharismatic, I couldve seen Michael B becoming Panther, even unofficially in some type of redemption arc til Wakanda found one but O well

Yeah I asked if I was the only one who didn’t know who he was. I didn’t ask who he was. I had already googled. But thanks

Holy shite, this is out of nowhere. As shocking as Kobe’s death. I had no clue he was even sick, was that known?

Such a young and talented guy too, seems the case all too often. I was really looking forward to seeing what he could do with BP as one of the leaders of the MCU, so much potential and life ahead of him. This one sucks, frick 2020 man.

They could get anyone to put on the suit and mask and die or whatever to write him off. Don't even need footage of Boseman or weird cgi like they did with Carrie Fisher.

Have his death come as the Black Panther in costume and you don't need to show his face.

Zero chance Iger and others didn’t know. Cancer treatment consumes your life and he was shooting for Black Panther and other movies the last four years.

They gotta get physicals and insurance so they had to know. Looking back at it a 5 picture deal with them was pretty short and only leaves BP 2 unfinished. That there was no re-up after BP was a monster was probably a sign.

I can see Marvel Studios writing his death into the sequel. Something like when he was snapped back into existence he wasn't completely returned and his body failed.

I always though M’baku was kind of a fan favorite. He was selected to challenge for the throne and had several small moments in the saga. He saved T’challa and was featured charging in alongside The Avengers in the final battle.

If there were a person who could convincingly step into the role as King of Wakanda, I would pick him.

I really liked Winston in Spenser Confidential. It was a subdued role but he did well.

Winston was also excellent in Person of Interest.

The man has the acting chops to take on such a role and honestly, I think he’d be more believable in a leading role than the actress that plays Shuri.
