Yep. He stood there and watched a young woman die without lifting a finger. Then in that same episode, he skipped out being at the birth of his daughter to make his first drug deal with Gus. That's when you realized Walt was past the point of no return.
I did a rewatch a few years ago, and that was the stuff I dreaded seeing again. It was pretty harrowing. I don't think Jane was a bad person -- she and Jesse were junkies and they were desperate for money. (I admit this may be colored by the fact that Krysten Ritter is in my top 5.)

I mean, I get that viewers "hate" her because she's the nagging wife trying to keep their "hero" from doing cool shite but how in the sweet blue frick is a woman in her situations supposed to act?
If I had a teenager with CP, got pregnant at 40-something, and had a husband with inoperable cancer, chances are I'm going to be just a tad bitchy.
And then I find out all the horrible shite my husband has done and has put me and my kids in danger???? Yeah - totally going to get my bitch on.
If BB were a true story this site would be full of posts calling WW a "TPOS" and "Where was the wife in all this??? Why didn't she turn her husband in???".
I wish people who hate Skylar would just own that they hate her because she got in Walt's way of being a badass instead of pretending they hate her for being a naggy wet blanket.

Completely agree. Hate for her is way over blown.

Nope. You're absolutely wrong. She was nagging and overbearing before Walt even got the news about the cancer. She had turned him into an absolute husk of a man, as evidenced by the flashbacks we see of him before he met her. Let's not forget she was clearly angling to get Ted's dick before she even figured out what Walt was up to. Her character would actually be exponentially more awful if Walt never broke into the drug biz and the show was just a domestic drama.

For starters, not frick her boss.

I thought the same way after the first time i watched....why does everyone hate her....
But, watching for the second time, she was definitely after Ted's D well before I would have given her a pass for doing so.

She would have stole and cheated.
correct, she was a drug addict.
maybe not have cheated but she would've compromised things one way or another. She came real close obviously...

Walt should have taken the 5mil and done his remaining years doing strippers and blow

I think she eventually would have. If Jesse was broke and some dealer would give her free drugs for sex.
She was untrustworthy, self centered, and manipulative.

Yeah, Walt tells his wife he's become a meth dealer and criminal. She throws him out and sees a lawyer to start divorce proceedings. He breaks into their home and forces her to live with him again and dares her to call the police on him and tells her if she does then she'll go down with him and she'll lose the kids.
But she's the bitch for fricking her boss after all that.

Walt was a prick POS, but this falls way down the list of shitty things he did.

You're completely misrepresenting the facts of the show. Ted made a pass at Skylar when she was working there initially, prior to the events of Breaking Bad- she leaves, but conveniently never tells Walt about the incident. When she seeks to return, having never told Walt about the incident and before she knew of Walt's escapades, she is 100% seeking dick from Ted. It literally took her 2- TWO- weeks to start fricking Ted after learning about Walt's manufacturing venture. (s3e4)
Skylar is the very definition of a succubus. You likely admire her and think she's a strong woman, but the fact is she's a soul-devouring shrew and would always have been regardless of Walt's actions- it's who she is as person.
Walt dodged a bullet avoiding a life sentence of her incessant hectoring. His body was literally trying to kill him in order to escape the nagging; once he retrieved his testicles from her purse and started being a badass the cancer goes right away.

I never really hated Skyler anymore than most of the characters on the show. She did make some mistakes but was put in a very difficult situation.
Walt on the other hand was a total POS.
I dont like Skyler but she is not one of my most hated characters ever like a lot of people. If the hate for her is mostly surrounded by her affair for her boss, then 1/2 the world would be hated.
Every character on that show made me love them and then hate them at some point

Hector 'Tio' Salamanca was legit.

Exactly. If Walt somehow, someway was able to grow a pair and buyout the car wash via legal venture, Skyler's behavior would still have been very much the same.
Another note, Skyler started flirting with Ted the very minute Walt started acting "weird" around the house. Cancer can do strange things to a person's psyche. Yet Skyler is all about her. If things don't fit into her little box, she's going to take things to the extreme....After 16 years of marriage, you don't just say: "My sick husband has been acting different lately, I think I'll try to screw another guy." Typical passive aggressive behavior.

Might as well throw Wendy the hooker in there as well.

What pissed me off right away about Skyler is that Walt asks if she would turn him in if he did something illegal very early on and she said yes. Of course he isn't going to come clean after hearing that. Then she proceeds to put herself and her family on the line to protect her boy toy embezzler instead of turning him in. She's a hypocrite.
