d. May at least be worth the watch for the 90s nostalgia alone.

I’m curious when they pick up. Blackberry was around for about 15 years before the phone came around. They had pagers for about ten years before the phone. The Blackberry phone released in 99 or 2000.

It is crazy how fast tech moved in twenty years and now it has basically stalled for 5-10 years. My laptop from college is like 3” thick with a 10” screen and was a big dick swinger back in the late 90s. It was strong. I still crank it up if I need to get to a 3.5” floppy lol.

There's no innovation really since Jobs died. Love him or hate him, he was an Idea Man. Cook is not.

And Samsung, as much as I prefer the android platform, isn't in the innovation business.

Wonder if their goal was to get the most annoying actor living today?

I finally gave up the Blackberry 18 months ago. My Key2 Red. Was a great phone. Had to give it up cuz carriers forced us to 5G phones even though there is no 5G in this state.

Biggest mistake was in the beginning, before there was Android, was requiring developers to use Adobe Air to make apps. HUGE mistake and developers hate it. Treated them like crap too. Then when Storm failed, BB told Verizon not to go to 4G. That’s when Verizon called Google and told it to develop a new OS.

Then BB screwed up the Playbook big time.

Looking back now, BB didn’t have the size or capital to invest in the research for AI, ecosystems, etc. needed today.

Caught this last night. It’s really good. Entertaining and funny as hell. Howerton kills it.

I thought he was fantastic. Not his normal annoying character.

This was fantastic. Howerton deserves Oscar consideration.

I couldn't help but feeling throughout the movie that the entire thing was Dennis Reynolds having a dream that he was playing this character??

I'm not sure where Glenn Howerton ends and Dennis Reynolds begins, but I think they are largely one in the same now.
