I liked it a lot.
It has a very competent story. Some humor. Some good fights. Adds a little to the Black Widow character.
Bad, the evil base in the sky was a little weird. The family relationship stuff was a little forced and I couldn’t stop thinking about why they didn’t do this movie instead of Captain Marvel.
This was a better movie in every possible way.

I went to see it more out of a sense of obligation than anything, but it was better than I expected. It’s better than Captain Marvel, not as good as Doctor Strange. Florence Pugh and David Harbour have some funny lines.

It was lot better than I expected a black widow movie to be. Thought the family dinner scene was some of the best acting in the MCU tho that's not saying much
Only big gripe is that the taskmaster twist fricking sucked. What a waste of a pretty cool villain. Put em in the list with the mandarin and ghost for villains who got the shaft from the mcu

Natasha wearing the vest throughout Infinity War (and baybe all the way at the end on Vormir?) was a nice touch.
I totally expected Yelena to pull some deus ex machina deal out of one of those pockets, though. Not gonna lie.

The Mandarin is the main villain in Shang Chi.

Thought that was a great movie. I didn’t expect it to be bad or anything, but it was better than I expected.

Yelena having an accent made zero sense. She didn't have an accent as a child. She won't suddenly get one as an adult.

Suddenly? She was raised by a secretive USSR agency from the age of 6. It is totally possible that she developed an accent in that time.

I do think they missed a chance to go a bit grittier with the action as opposed to the over the top CGI. A really good fight with Taskmasker or the widows would have been better than the Red Eoom falling apart for ten minutes.
Agree 100%
The opening fight on the bridge was great. Would have loved to see a knock down drag out fight with Natasha and Yelena taking her on a la the big finale of Civil War

Accents happen because the speaker learned the language as an adult.
If Yelena grew up speaking English as a native language, she shouldn’t have a thick Russian accent.

Florence Pugh was fine AF in her Widow attire.
David Harbour was as excellent as he always is.
Bit of a waste of Olga Kurylenko and Taskmaster but it makes sense I suppose in context.
Given the after credit bit, is it likely we see Pugh in the D+ Hawkeye? What’s the end game trying to target Clint like that? That’d just rain down the Avengers upon them.

They were both speaking in Russian as kids on the tarmac in Cuba. Safe to say Russian was still their primary and they spoke mostly English because well… obviousness.

She didn't.

Im glad they didn’t move the phase 4 storyline along too much. It was nice to pretty have a super hero Jason Bourne movie

It looked to me like it was on a giant scaffold about 30,000 ft. in the sky?
I built scaffolds in plants in the 80s and once built one 100 ft. high.

I thought it was a really good movie. Florence Pugh is THICCC.

So I realized something in this movie that helps fix some plot holes in other movies. Explosions clearly work different in the MCU. I mean a five story building blowing up can't even kill a little girl? No wonder so many of the heros can take the blows they do and keep going, a brick of C4 is about the same as a single black cat here. That or every person in the MCU just has a Wolverine level healing factor, I dunno. But seriously that little girl tanked a building blowing up on her like a pro.

Think that's already been confirmed.
