I apologize in advance for the text wall, but for your consideration, I submit the classic staple of 80's fantasy cinema -
HIGHLANDER
The use of innovative camera shots was incredible for its time.
From the Skycam swooping around Madison square garden during a wrestling match. Starting at the ring then swiveling, circling high up all around the garden until it slowly closes in one the one man man not cheering. To the many shifts from one timeline to another, just tremendous camera shot planning.
But the best was the final fight between Kargen and McCloud. From the moment McCloud has the line "heh, what kept you?" The Micheal Kamen score starts again and we see the sword fight from a rolling camera. At its height, the camera advances towards and around the fight during Connor's attack.
That combination of action, camera movement, and music gives me chills and works every single time.
Some of the other parts of the movie, Castle getting knocked down during sword fight, maybe not so much.

"YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!!"
I sat in the theater with chills thinking "This is why movies and CGI were invented, so this scene could be made"
There are couple of scenes in the Trilogy that are breathtaking.
The Ride of the Rohirrim
When the Fellowship is passing beneath the statues at Arkonath.
The lighting of the Beacons.

Hard Ticket To Hawaii
Wtf did I just watch? Lmao.
On a serious note, I'd submit the standoff scene from The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly to any Best Scene Ever conversation.

Some great suggestions, in Gladiator, when he actually kills Comodus is brutal. He has him overpowered and comodosukeeps flailing that arm as Maximus slowly drives that knife in.
Brutal.
