This little mini discussion caused me to wonder about strikeout numbers for this team and previous years and led to me discovering that freshman year Alex Bregman played 67 games and only struck out 25 times the whole season.
Welcome back Mets Jacob deGrom

I didn’t understand bringing in Jimenez when he was shite against us twice this year and threw 48 pitches the day before
I also was surprised by this

Bouncing off the left fielders shoulder or the second baseman’s glove would be funnier
It’s funny

We went from wondering if it ended up being a war in two games with Arkansas, would we burn Anderson and even Eyanson for the Coastal matchup.
To now our pitching rotation will be normal for the Finals  :geauxtigers:

Need them to take tomorrow’s game at least so both teams’ pitching staffs are more depleted

Whole team taking 86 mph meatballs down the middle, for what?
First of all who cares second of all uhh, laugh back at them harder
I could bemoan how embarrassing it is perform like this in a postseason game like it’s a Tuesday in March….but I won’t.
Tomorrow is simple: either you show up, play your game to your potential, smoke this D-II squad out of YOUR stadium, or this is the biggest choke in program history that was gifted the easiest regional against a team 10 games below .500

No but move him to 5th
Foul off what would have been ball one and then whiff on two cement mixer DTD sliders. Woof.

They were never the best team in the country. I wasn’t shocked they got the top overall seed but they are at best the fourth best team in just our conference alone.

“The 40 win team with a top twenty RPI or the worst team in the tournament” hmm tough choice

Our regional draw is better
Do people really not understand why this is advantageous?
Tennessee got a tough draw.
2- Wake Forest (in that tiny park)
3- Cincinnati
4- Miami OH (a tough 4 seed)

No big surprises. UCLA over TCU is a small one maybe.
We’ve only struck out 3 times. Walked just as many times.
Every single ball is right at someone.
