re: LSU 41 TAMU 24 Tomorrow!!! Let’s GEAUX!!!

This is kinda where my prediction is starting to settle too. Similar flow to the Florida game but with a few more stops on both sides. ...
New article on D1 written by Shooter Hunt claiming Cameron Johnson is making it to campus
To further elaborate here’s what was said in the article:
“Just one LSU Tigers recruit was selected in the Top 10 rounds (C Blake Mitchell, 8th Overall), and not because of a lack of talent....
re: Question about MLB Draft

Only players from the US, Canada, or US territories (like Puerto Rico) are eligible for the draft. ...
Yes, Skenes is a better prospect than both Mize and Leiter, but that hardly makes him a guarantee.

He’s a WAAAAAAY better prospect than those 2. And he’s just about as close to a guarantee as there is.
This is important. Somehow, incredibly, some people are under...
Burns. Is that he has made it clear he wants a spot as a starter not in the pen and he and his people have basically stated this to schools that have courted him.
And tommy white wanted to play 3rd base.
Identifying and seeking out what you want is mature and smart and not at a...
Jay is most passionate about building a team and having each player put the team needs above their own. Not saying this would keep him from recruiting Burns, but would it push Burns down the list a little in terms of priority compared to others who may be perceived as being “less selfish.” [/...
Are we expecting grant Taylor to leave?
I hope not, but I can see a team taking him somewhere in the 2nd round or early 3rd and him getting $1M+. If that happens I really think that would be the smart move for him unfortunately.
I feel like it’s highly unlikely that a team wi...
re: So…How good is Florida?
Posted by NeauxDice on 6/23/23 at 8:25 am
Wake is 100% better. Seeing some people say that Florida has “a much better offense”, that isn’t true. Wake is (was) statistically better across the board offensively than Florida. And we already know Wake had the best pitching staff in the country. ...
re: It seems that analytics stalled WF today
Posted by NeauxDice on 6/23/23 at 8:09 am
How is telling your coach that you’re out of gas and it’s time to go to the pen “analytics”? He didn’t (to our knowledge) use data or charts or trends, he observed his own body becoming fatigued in the moment and reacted. That’s the opposite of analytics. ...
I also didn't understand them taking out Massey. We couldn't touch his stuff and they yanked him as well.
This was the *actual* bad move. Massey was carving us up. Could not believe he got taken out. ...

re: Do you move Tre back to leadoff?

Crews is your best hitter and should be batting 2nd or 3rd but I doubt they make that kind of a change tomorrow. ...

re: Alex Lange doing well as Detroit's closer
Posted by NeauxDice on 6/13/23 at 1:16 am
Arguably the best closer in baseball this year at the beginning of the season, has scuffled over his last few appearances but he’s still awesome.
Fastball now reaches 98 with movement, hitters whiff >50% on his change, and can still do this
have a hard time seeing us get 3 starts out of him barring rain delays. 4 days rest, then come back on 3 days rest? how?
Yeah, 3 starts is not happening but 3 appearances? Definitely. Game 1, game 4, and at some point during the finals. Could see him doing 30-50 pitches depending ...
re: How would you handle the pitching for Omaha?
Posted by NeauxDice on 6/12/23 at 4:27 pm
Every team in Omaha is good. And hot. You don’t try to get cute. It’s all fun and games until you try to “save” Skenes and end up losing opening round.
Jay Johnson picked Skenes game 1 of a regional against 19 win Tulane. Zero chance it’s anyone but Paul the first game in Omaha. ...
re: We have a 19-40 team in our bracket! We cannot waste one of our top 3 on the bump!
Posted by NeauxDice on 5/29/23 at 4:20 pm
19-40 but got hot at the right time. More importantly though we can’t get so cute and overthinking that we screw around and lose the first game. Getting into the winners bracket using Hurd, Money, or even Floyd is more important than saving “everyone” only to mess around and lose and then have to sw...
One of the more satisfying wins of the season
Posted by NeauxDice on 5/24/23 at 12:52 pm
A pitcher other than Skenes/Floyd dealt and ate innings, very quality at bats top to bottom, bullpen was nails and allowed us to add runs and pull away, cruised to a win in a game that had sleepwalk potential. Coming against Carolina after the cancelled Game 3 makes it that much sweeter. ...
re: Notice how often when our pitchers MOST need our bats
Posted by NeauxDice on 5/14/23 at 6:05 pm
It isn’t too much to ask, but as a few already said 13 runs should be enough no matter when in the game they’re scored. Period.
Offense did their job and then some. ...
