Any movie about people in New Orleans.

People not from here are incapable of sounding like people from here.
This is the right answer. Catch ME if You Can is a big offender - Martin Sheen sounds like someone from South Carolina low country.

thought Leo's accent in the Curious Case of Benjamin Button was on point

Must have been a pretty good accent seeing how Leo did not act in Benjamin Button. It was Brad Pitt.

When he was flirting and seducing Liv Tyler, he employed the use of an Aussie accent.

It was cringingly horrid.

Leo’s Rhodesian in Blood Diamond

This one is weird, cos Leo does it as an Afrikaner, when Rhodesians aren't Afrikaner. It's a solid Afrikaner, but I'm not sure it's a Rhodesian. Aren't many around to compare it to.

In a follow up, Tom Jane has a solid Afrikaner accent in Stander- a highly underrated flick.

yeah, he even said something like, i can't do a new orleans accent so, i'm just going to use my own voice. i mean the character is from alabama so, why would he have a nola accent?

Scott Bakula’s NOLA accent does not fit this OP but I think deserves mention as one of the worst

BTW

Anyone watch the pilot for Filthy Rich? Filmed and set in New Orleans. Supposedly.

Perhaps it was influenced. Archer was, I believe, born and raised early as Rhodesian, then matured and lived South African?

My bro in law was born and raised in England. Came to southern US at age 12. Now he’s got this odd English/American South thing going on.

He perfected ( ) that horrible British accent the following year in "Much Ado About Nothing". Hard to watch.

Thank God he became Neo.

I watched Mrs. Doubtfire the other day and Pierce Brosnan’s American accent was pretty bad.

Fantastic choice. Such a good mini-series with great performances and his yelling generic Boston that everybody imitates joking around makes it almost completely unwatchable. How did nobody pull Kevin aside and say hey dude, what the frick are you talking about
