re: Ben Affleck is the new Batman

Pretty bummed about this choice since I was super excited about Justice League.

This movie is going to suck so hard.

Ultimately the villains will end up making these movies. Hopefully, they bring Catwoman (Hathaway) back. Not sure how you do the Joker but Lex Luthor will obviously be in play.

I haven't seen Argo, but other than that one movie I'm not seeing where he's this great actor now. He's always been able to play a dude from Boston with a terrible accent like in the Town. That's Ben Affleck playing Ben Affleck. Like somebody else in this thread said, to me he's one of those actors who always just seems like himself rather than the character he's playing. So my disappointment comes from the fact that this will seem like Ben Affleck fights Superman the movie.

You don't need Daniel Day Lewis to play Batman, and as solid an actor as Bale is it's not like his acting carried the Nolan movies.

Bruce Wayne is a giant tool as well. Generally speaking, obviously it fits.

i used to mix up ben stiller and ben affleck.

i think ben still is hysterical and occasionally i would go to a movie and find out it was affleck (and i was thinking it was going to be stiller) and i was wondering why he was suddenly so wooden and unfunny.

finally got it straight in my head they aren't the same person.

i wouldn't watch the liberal hollywood democrat douche nozzle in a movie if it was the last movie on earth.
