Wife and I saw it last night and liked it quite a bit.
We were both having a hard time figuring out how to tell people about it w/o spoilers so we boiled it down to the special effects are great, it's funny, you're going to want to watch Avengers 4 right away, it really helps add to the drama if you've seen every MCU flick, and don't drink too many liquids before you go b/c it's long and you won't want to get up w/how much is happening.

Well I'm doing my part, i went Thursday, bought two tickets for the kids for yesterday and I am planning on seeing it again tomorrow

My wife had foot surgery and is on crutches. She had to pee from the instant the Guardians showed up on Titan and she just couldn’t bring herself to do it, knowing how long it would take her.
There was never a moment that seemed like it wasn’t going to be important to not miss.

My birthday is Friday. Was wanting to take the whole family that afternoon to see this movie. But I just know my 5 year old will need to pee at least twice during the movie and I can't risk that. So I'll either go alone for the first viewing and bring them later. Or I'll bring a powerade bottle for him to pee in.

I also disagree that the one liners were too much. I loved Ragnarok and they were too much in it. This had the perfect balance to me. Humor where it should be, serious, tense and emotional where it should have been.

Best to go alone the first time. Even though it’s 2 and a half hours it goes by fast and there’s a ton of shite you’ll miss

This. I don't get the complaints. It was not nearly to the level of Thor 3 or GotG2.
The box office has been ridiculous.

It’s got the highest audience score out of all the MCU so far, which is by far a better gauge for the movie than the critic score
