Rumors we're getting the name of Ep 9 tomorrow

It makes me so sad that I just don’t give a shite.

Before TLJ, I’d consider giving a hobo a reach around if it meant I’d learn the name of the next Star Wars before anyone else. But now, who freaking cares.

Didn't TLJ and Solo tank overseas- especially in China? I wouldn't think either the domestic or the overseas takes for Ep 9 would be close to Endgame.

It would just be a giant reversal of momentum.

Unless the new Star Wars movie begins with Finn waking up and everything in the last movie was a dream it will not be good enough.

Yes. It's funny because Yoda didn't even look like a fricking force ghost because Disney was afraid China would ban it. Stupid fricks.

No idea. I would guess Endgame. I, like many others, won’t see Episode 9 in the theater unless the spoilers make me want to.

I can’t believe this is a conversation. The conversation should be is Endgame going to double Star Wars worldwide.

Their box office numbers should be absolutely insane this year.

will not see episode 9 in theaters unless audience reviews are above 90% and this board is gushing over it.

Everyone’s opinion I trust are saying the same thing, so how will anyone know to go see it?

Most posters saying they won't see it are lying. They'll be there opening week.

People accused the boycotters of Solo that they’d do the same. We stayed home.

I don't doubt you'll stay home, but comparing Solo to Ep 9 is apples to oranges. Nobody really cared about Solo. It was a major mistake by Disney. People will still want to see how this trilogy is completed. It's not as if RJ is making it, I'm confident Abrams will make a fun popcorn flick that will play well with the GA.

People said this about Solo but people didn’t go see it. People said the same thing about the Saints fans not watching the Super Bowl and they didn’t.

Only little bitches that know they’ve lost the argument bring up the “but you guys are still gonna go see it” argument

People took out their anger about TLJ by punishing Solo

I don't think there will be a consensus about that. There are a minority of people who really love the direction TLJ went. The core fanbase are beyond pissed off.

They could have made another bad Star Wars movie without making the core fan base upset. It would have been laughably easy to just make a lazy product with a Luke Skywalker (and Leia and Yoda) that seemed like the same characters in the same universe. But they went another way and didn't make a good movie in the process.
