Obligatory John Adams intro theme is up there with the best things you'll ever hear. Absolutely on par with Last of the Mohicans original score.

shite makes you want to want to throw tea off a boat and run through woods of Massachusetts and NY in deer skins with a 9 ft. long smooth-bore and attack Red Coat officers.

#teamjefferson

Really shows you what these men put on the line for our freedom.

Something like 75% of the signers of the declaration ended up jailed, bankrupt or dead.

You want to talk greatest generation? These guys were one of the greatest generation humanity has ever produced.

Which episode do they address the federal government’s role in reproductive rights?

It’s excellent. I have watched it 3 times. Might be time for another viewing.

I’ve watched it probably 10 times. Incredible acting and costume design.

Was in Philly for work last month and toured Independence Hall. The series was right on the money with the portrayal of the signing room.

And the reason this is my all time favorite mini-series, AND the reason Sideways is a top five all-time movie with me as well.

I feel cheated that I wasn’t able to see this when we were taught about the Constitution, Revolution.

Has one of the funniest, most awkward sex scenes in movie history.

American Pie level cringe.

In middle school we did a mock trial for the Boston massacre.

Of course I didn’t really care much at the time, but the older I get the more and more I realize this trial is one of the singular events in American history.

If all John Adams ever did was step forward to earnestly defend these sons of England, he’d be a giant amongst our founding fathers. This trial validated the integrity of American courts for a generation.

Edited to add: or in the words of Mr. Adams

“It was, however, one of the most gallant, generous, manly and disinterested Actions of my whole Life, and one of the best pieces of service I ever rendered my country. Judgment of death against these soldiers would have been as fouls a stain upon this country as the executions of the Quakers or Witches, anciently. As the evidence was, the verdict of the jury was exactly right.”

I stopped watching Billions solely because I couldn't stand him in it any more

I get Ted Cruz vibes from Paul's depiction of John Adams in this ministry.

The scene portraying the final passage of the Declaration, followed by the complete silence of the delegates after the resolution passed is some of HBO's best work.

Very compelling scene. I also enjoyed the interaction between King George and Adams when he is introduced as the first ambassador.

His character in that series is terrible and that series is a cat chasing it’s tail but he’s a great actor.
