Same here, I've rewatched the last 30 minutes a couple times now. The only interesting character is Wendy. I'll stick with it for now.

I agree with this. I am liking it so far though.
Caught up on the second episode last night, and it was pretty good. I like the existence of the other weird creatures, so there are more threats than just the xenomorph. But there were scenes that bothered me a lot..just typical "movie trope" kind of shite that I don't like (obnoxious young rich kid, some of the xenomorph decisions, etc.). But overall, I like the show and am interested in where it goes.

Second episode is retarded. Guy tells the armed search and rescue soldier to move, he just stands there. Instead of firing his gun , he just sits there and does nothing. Ridiculous.
And how the hell is there a party being held in a building where a freaking spaceship crashed? Again, retarded.

Wow, I was impressed with the first two episodes. Much more tightly focused than I expected. Is the whole show going to be set in the building and crashed ship?
I also appreciate the Alien movie tradition of characters doing incredibly stupid shite - like sending children on a search and rescue mission, and (of course) having idiots put their faces right next to mysterious alien organisms dripping with mucus. Why not? Classic.

This may suffer from Halo of having to put too much filler and dialogue in something that should be pure action and suspense.
Struggles of a series vs a movie. Not hating it by any means.
Agree with others that they finally let one go loose one a murderous rampage that it’s worthy of.

Only seen episode 1 so far but liked it. HUGE props to the ending using E5150 into Mob Rules to end the episode, epic shite right there.

Yep. The raw simplicity of the original Alien still holds to this day. The show does well with the aesthetics but falls way short after that.
And I hope they explain where the xenomorph eggs came from, without there being a queen on board.
