i saw a video talking about how they filmed all these episodes with prob lightsabers that emitted real lights.

so pros were the lighting looks real and it looks less CGIed.

the cons were that they are so much heavier than what they filmed the other movies with (essentially sticks)

I think it was probably the wrong move here.

Thrawn was absolutely terrible in this show. You can tell he was written by a guy with room temperature IQ because they had absolutely no idea how to write him intelligently
Like I said.

Book Thrawn>>>>Animated Thrawn>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Ahsoka Thrawn

Cold, calculating, highly intelligent Thrawn is way better than brash, emotional, incompetent Thrawn.

Hayden still looked great with a lightsaber.

It sounds like season 2 isn’t happening

The actor recently appeared on the Dagobah Dispatch podcast, where she was asked if she has had any conversations about the future of Ahsoka. "No," she plainly stated. However, Dawson did mention that she would be reuniting with her fellow cast members soon for dinner. "We're supposed to be having a dinner soon, of the whole cast, which will be really nice because I haven't seen everyone," she added. "I was very jealous seeing everyone at some of their cons recently, which I wasn't able to be at."

Bumping this thread as I recently watched and this series might be the biggest steaming pile of dung disney star wars has put out, including episode 8 and 9.

Acting, story, fight scenes, execution all horrible. Like the Star Wars Christmas special, let's just act like this never happened and move on.

I feel bad for the clone wars Ahsoka fans who haven't accepted that Kathleen Kennedy or her fembot writers would never permit that Ahsoka to ever exist again.

Hollywod can't write good star wars anymore. It simply isn't possible.

It wasn't great, but it wasn't anywhere near THAT bad. Especially after seeing what we got with Acolyte.

Rory McCann (the Hound) has reportedly been cast as Baylan Skoll in ‘AHSOKA’ Season 2.

McCann will replace Ray Stevenson after his passing in 2023.

I was just coming here to post this. Looking at the actor today, there's plenty enough physical similarities to pull it off and I think Clegane is a good enough actor as well.

I'd accept it.

The only Disney+ Star Wars show that I couldn’t finish, Skeleton Crew brought me back into the fold.

I think/hope he’ll do a good job. Will not duplicate his predecessor though.

I’m just glad this show is getting a 2nd season.

Disney could have easily just abandoned his storyline. I'm glad they went this route instead. The Hound and Stevenson were apparently very close friends and Stevensons's wife apparently was asked by The Hound and gave her blessing for him to take up the role.

I hope he makes the character his own and doesn't try to replicate what Stevenson did, I'm not sure if that's something that's achievable.

I for one really enjoyed Ahsoka, and i'm very much looking forward to season 2.

To me, what it happening in this series is what the sequal trilogy should have been focused on.
