From what I understand she got heavy into drugs not sure exactly when but it probably happened when she was a teen and ran off with her adult boyfriend. Sounds like she was groomed as well

Read this line in one of the articles, which is just horrifying...
FYI, that's her dad saying that. I don't know about you, but if my kid was doing drugs and I was aware of it I'd move heaven and earth to help them. I cannot fathom being aware of "struggling with drugs at the age of 13" as even a remotely normal sentence to utter.

Not sure what her father did or did not do to try and help her but even parents that move heaven and earth to try to help mentally ill or drug addicted kids often fail to stop the worst outcomes.
