Man alive, I know the original series flopped to the finish line, but there's just something about that main theme playing during big moments that gets me every time.

Brother, the last 10 minutes of that episode, with the GOT theme bumping, that got the blood flowing. Holy shite that was awesome.

This show is quickly rising up my list. I was nervous when HBO announced this but safe to say I’m very glad they did.

When the music started I think it moved. Elite

It was also great casting for Aerion whose actor bears a passing resemblance to young Rhaenyra from HOD

Wow, what an episode. I knew what was going to happen and it still made my balls explode.

Maekar is fast becoming one of my favorite characters. He's such a salty bastard.

Soooo this is A Knight’s Tale remake by GOT?

The first book, The Hedge Knight, was written three years before A Knight's Tale was released. (1998 to 2001)

Commoners posing as knights is a tale as old as the time it depicts.

Is it really a blend of a GoT storyline with a plot similar to A Knight’s Tale?

If that’s the case I guess I’m in after all. I loved A Knight’s Tale with Heath Ledger. The soundtrack was banging too.

If you watch all of the episodes up to this one, I think you'll be happy you did. It's the perfect place for a mini-binge before the final 2 episodes.

I had a hunch this episode would focus on rounding out the groups of seven for the upcoming Trial by Seven, so I wasn’t expecting much action. But wow—it completely surprised me by being outstanding. Easily the best episode of the season so far.
The stage is perfectly set for some truly epic combat ahead: knights clashing with the Kingsguard, blood against blood, honor pitted against arrogance. I’ve got a strong gut feeling about which of the “good guys” might fall (I’d guess at least three, based on what we’ve seen so far). The real highlight, though? All seven on the opposing side are complete twats—any of them going down will feel like sweet, well-deserved justice.
This episode dropping early is a gift and a curse. Having to wait an extra few days for the next new episode is going to really feel like a drag knowing we’re finally about to get some action. Hopefully these last 3 episodes will deliver after quite the build up over the first 4.

George R. R. Martin told Dexter Sol Ansell that his performance and appearance in "The Knight of the Seven Kingdoms" were as if Egg had:

“jumped straight out of the book.”

well worth it, didn’t take long either. Slow development in true GoT fashion but perfect stopping point leading up to some action!

Next episode should be good

Watched episode 4 and just here to say this has been a fantastic show.

I do wish I would have waited for the series to complete because it’d be great for watching straight through, but I’m not capable of doing that for shows I’m excited for.

I knew the reveal but that ending still had me wanting to run through a brick wall.

Such an awesome episode. Very tempted to go read the books. These once a week, 30 minute episodes are killing me.
