Excellent episode. Love the world building. Love the humor
Fortunately we only had a horse shitting and Dunk puking as the only eliminations of waste.
Dunk is so likeable. Egg was well cast. The scenes of them together are all good.
Knowing the reveal it was annoying how they went out of the way to not say the youngest sons name etc. even as the unnamed everyone else as fossoway talked.

Great episode. I was cracking up at all the apples in the tent.
I've not read the books, but watched a bunch of Alt Shift X, etc stuff on the world and all of the history. It's interesting seeing the seeds of Robert's Rebellion get planted even at this time period.

Egg singing the Hammer and the Anvil in the tree was great. Those pesky Blackfyre’s.

They didn’t name Maester Aemon either just mentioned how useless he was. I love that on his deathbed he was dreaming of his brother. “I dreamt that I was old”

Love the little nods they give to the main series. The only thing I wish they could dispense with is the obsession with poop and fart jokes like D&D had.

Finally an episode without a naked dude.

“Finishing on their wives’ tits” was spoken dialogue.

That exchange was priceless. Will rewatch just for that scene.

Absolutely love this show. Egg was so well cast. He’s the star thus far.

I was getting worried about this show after the second episode, but that episode was awesome. That reveal was great

They’ve nailed the castings of everyone. The cast is really shining along with the humor. I just hope they can stay filming the second season soon before the kid that plays Egg gets too big

We might need a maester thread because one of the characters said something last night that is pretty huge and mysterious and I can't discuss it here.

Yeah the actor playing Baelor was low-key phenomenal in last night’s episode with no lines.
Conveying with just a few facial expressions and mannerisms that he knows exactly what is about to happen but can’t really stop it.

I went ahead and fired one up for book spoiler discussion.
Just a reminder to folks to PLEASE not bring those discussions in this thread since several folks here haven't read the novellas.

Really like the way Baelor is being portrayed. You get the impression he's a truly decent dude and somehow ended up not being a batshit insane Targaryen.
ETA: I've seen folks mention elsewhere about him not being a "blonde" Targaryen. His mother was a Dornish Princess (Myriah Martell) so he carries those dark hair/dark eye traits from her.

So for those who didn’t know any spoilers, was the reveal a surprise, or was it telegraphed too much based on things discussed in the show?
I googled it beforehand, but still thought the way Egg delivered his line about cutting his hair was so cold.
“I cut it off brother, I didn’t want to look like you.”
